31,543. The number of tickets the league cup finalists get allocated.

Won't affect me as I'm guaranteed one should we progress. Feel for WHU/Brum/Ipswich/Arse fans who don't get one though. Shockingly low allocation.

£38-£86

Is that the number for each team, or the number combined?

Presumably the rest get sold with prawn sandwiches....?

Each.

So a bad allocation, but not as bad as I was thinking as I first read what you'd posted (thinking you were meaning that number for both teams).

TBH, I'd have thought that more than 25% would be flogged off to corporate clients at stupid prices, so that's a bigger allocation than I'd have predicted.

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. :)

Really bad weekend for spurs, Im glad to see man u drop some points. Will make for a more interesting title race. Both man city and arsenal have a chance but may need to beat man u. I can see city going to man u and playing for a draw to consilidate top 4. Arsenal may give it a go. but will probably beat man u and then drop points to someone like wolves the week after. The champions league could also play a big role with arsenal less likely to be involved in the later stages than man utd.

Watched all 3 games today live on Sky, and obviously being a Villa fan the following games couldn't live upto it. Everton Liverpool had its moments, but Spurs v Man U was a very disappointing game on the whole.

Was pleased with Villa today btw, but as Ive been saying for about 2 years WE NEED A STRIKER! Carew was f**king awful, but still best Ive seen him for about a year.

kenny dalglish is shite. agreed everyone?

Why do you think that he's proved himself as shite in just three games and eight days?

The first he had no time to influence. The second was against a team that's able to turn any team over on it's day. The 3rd was a derby, where class and form normally has little relevance.

FFS, you're making the most sack-happy chairman look like they're being very slack.:lol:

Kenny might turn out to be shite, but it's far too early to know if that's the case. Everyone has been saying how awful L'pool's squad is, and even Fergie the Great has been unable throughout his career to polish the turds he's bought on occasions.

the merseyside derby was much as I'd have expected it - lots of effort and not a huge amount of skill from both sides. An enjoyable watch and a fair result.

Spurs / Man Utd was all a bit cagey. The Utd defence were as tight as they nearly always are, but I think the teller for the game was Fergie subbing Nani with Anderson - after that Utd sat back, and even on a good break weren't prepared to commit men forwards. I ended up concluding that for Fergie it was far more important not to lose than it was to win.

he was on the touchline, so he had 90 minutes to influence the man utd game. else why use touchline bans as a punishment?

blackpool can easily get turned over by anyone on their day. like west brom. shite reasoning.

and yesterday he again found himself losing from a 1-0 lead but was lucky that howard put in a silly challenge to let them back in.

i'm not calling for his head. give him til the end of the season. doesn't change that he's shite though. lucky for him, there's gonna be at least 3 shitter teams liverpool come may.

If you think a touchline ban has any real effect, then you're more daft than I'd have believed.

Yes, Blackpool can get beat, but they've also shown themselves as capable of beating any team. While it's a game I'm sure Liverpool would rather have won, it's still the case that Dalglish had had very little time to influence how the players might play, or to discover which players are able to stick to any instruction he might have given them.

The fact that he went with at least one different player yesterday to those he put out on Wednesday gets to show that he's still finding out what the players he has are able to do for him. It's going to take him perhaps 6 or 8 games to find out the best combination of players for how he wants to play.

And I agree about yesterday - when Everton went 1 up I texted scottie and said I didn't then expect Liverpool to win; it would be a draw or an Everton win. Tho to be fair to Liverpool, they perked up again after that penalty, and perhaps might have gone on and won it after all.

As I've said, Dalglish might turn out to be shite - but there's no way of you knowing that he is on the little he's been able to do so far.

and as i keep telling you, my reason for him being shite aren't based on these 3 games alone.

and if dalglish had won the 3 games, you can bet your bottom dollar that you'd be saying that it was his presence and influence that had turned around the results from the hodgson era.

very true. Your reason for thinking him shit is because of a poor job he did for a few months at Celtic - something that's more than balanced out by the excellent job he did at two other clubs.

On the basis you're working from, Fergie is also a shit manager, cos it took him years and years to win anything with Utd.:lol:

Two of those three games were about as difficult as games get, so anyone who really expected Liverpool to have won those games just because he's back is in cloud-cuckoo land.

But if he had, then I'd be saying that the players had started playing for him in a way they wouldn't play for Woy, yes.

But that still doesn't make me as stupid as you are in thinking that he should be getting league winning form from shit players in three game.

yet you leave out newcastle as well. his two most recent jobs. a decade ago. you'd be questioning the appointment of roy evans if he was brought into the premiership. i know he's not been successful as dalglish in the past, but he's been out just as long.

Roy Evans doesn't have any record of huge success - so it's hardly comparing like with like is it?

In your world from what you've said there, Fergie and (plucks name from the air) Mowbray are equal managers.:lol:

man utd away in the cup, yeah very hard first game. blackpool away, liverpool should be winning, especially having taken the lead. and a home derby where everton don't have the best record from what i heard. he should have done better there as well. especially after the first half they had.

Blackpool - while L'pool perhaps should be winning that one, as yet there's no guarantee for any team to win any game. And the facts get to show that Blackpool are not the whipping boys that your comment is based on them being.

And Liverpool/Everton is ALWAYS a tight game that can go either way. There was little different about yesterday to the 4-4 between those teams which had Kenny quit* the first time around.

(* tho him quitting was about FAR more than just that result or anything about the state of the club at that time; it strongly included the fact that he'd been to dozens of funerals in the preceding years, and the effect that had had on him).

where have i ever said league winning form? and shit players? only 4 months ago, you were saying these shit players were better than defoe, van der vaart, crouch, modric, lennon and co :P

 four+ months ago I was making a comparison of Liverpool and Spurs last season ... and the fact is that one club had many more players at the WC than the other.

Simple fact: you love O'Neill, yet there is absolutely nothing which suggests he'd get better out of those Liverpool players than Kenny might manage.

So I could rip your own view to shreds if I was so inclined as you with posting what is mostly empty words. ;)
