That attitute is probably one of the reasons why O'Driscoll is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest ever in his sport, and Becks is a media whore who has made some really bad decisions in his career.

The Madrid to Galaxy move was disgusting. 90,000 Madrid fans chanting his name every week and he leaves them for the cash despite already being mega rich.

I agree about the easier league, its probably championship standard at best. However what I think has surprised american fans is despite him playing against poorer quality opposition, he hasnt stood out at all. The way the english media still discuss him, you think he would be the best player in the league, he isnt even close. I think his mediocrity is more down to lack of commitment.

Oh Boro! Awesome. I really didn't want Norwich in the playoffs and it's looking like it's a great day for them. They deserve it, they've been well worth the hype all year.

Pages of arguing about Mourinho's method, endless scemantics about rules, arguments over players and managers intentions and here we are a day after Norwich City achieved one of the greatest feats in recent footballing memory and not a lick from the regulars. What a shit football thread.

Congrats Zeppelin. I don't think any fan would begrudge Norwich their success this season.

So the scum are pretty much up to the championship with Brighton. Gonna be cheering on Bournemouth in the playoffs too.

Be great to have Pompey playing three local derbies next season. South coast football is on the up!

Well said Greeny. huge congrats to Norwich and their supporters. Goss was one of my favourite players growing up, so always had a fondness for them. Have just always seemed a likeable club.

One of my favourite Utd goals was against Norwich, away to Carrow Road in the first prem season. Norwich were topping the table and Utd were 3rd with 6-7 games to go.

Anyways great stuff and enjoy next year Zeppelin! Let's be havin you! :D

Guardiola: "I know my players very well and they are an example of professionalism and honesty. The actions from the past are just that - in the past."

It's not like he - or any manager - is going to come out and say "my players are cheats", is he?

It'll be interesting to see how tonight's match plays out after those comments.

i'm guessing a madrid sending off will be under evens tonight?

i dunno if i can be arsed watching it. no team has ever come back from 2-0 down in a second leg in a champions league semi according to optajoe. so not that arsed about either game.

What I really like about all this is the likelihood of them playing Manchester United whom it is claimed also get helped by refs...every big decision, for either side, is going to be followed by 'BIASED REF!', 'Cheating!' etc

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
