An arrogant attention seeking moaner who isn't that much funnier than other managers? Manages teams full of wonderful players playing dour, nasty football whilst diving to win? An egotistical man who is bitter in defeat and blames everyone else?

He's everything that's wrong personified. A myth. A winner for sure but I'd never ever what that c**t near my club. What a tool.

He does. He gives an honest account of what he feels, with absolute contempt for the corrupt institutional authoritries that demand him to speak and behave in a certain way. He's a revolutionary as far as I'm concerned; an unashamed maverick.

I'm saying that he doesn't give a toss about what you, me, the establishment or anyone else thinks. He isn't afraid to use the truth about football to make his point and has absolutely no regard whatsoever for the unwritten codes of what you can and cannot say about the institution of football in an interview. He says exactly what he thinks.

Much like Cantona or any maverick. 'You held me an icon just because I can kick a ball, you should take responsibility for my subsequent actions'.

I disagree. I just think he doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks. He's the manager. Why should he care what anyone else thinks. I actually admire his psychology more than anything else. He has absolute clarity of mind and will. Label it all you will, he doesn't give a shit.

He isn't the messiah no matter what Sky Sports say. He's a very very football manager who acts like a bit of a bellend.

I know it's a bit of a front but still, whilst he has done some classy things occasionally, he let's himself down a lot. Just my opinion of course.

I admire his psychology because he never allows himself to give in to regret. You never see him faun, or try to justify his actions, or try to pander to an audience, or appeal, or show remorse because the media have created a story out of his views. He doesn't try to get you to like him or gain your sympathies. He doesn't care about his image. His achievements matter only to him and his family and friends. He has nothing but contempt for anyone else but those involved and recognises that his only concern and duty, ever, is to his team. He's already forgotten about this shite. He said what he said and now it's up to the world to sort it all out. Brilliant. He just turns his back on it as if it's done and dusted. That is excellent psychology, but given that he's highly educated in psychology it comes as no surprise to me.

I couldn't give a toss what Sky say by the way. And I hope you aren't implying that my like is in anyway swayed by them.

In other news, I've just realisd that Sunderland are the fifth most decorated team in terms of league titles after Liverpool, Manchester, London and Birmingham. That's impressive, especially considering that there's only one team from Sunderland.

Sunderland football club are the sixth most decorated team in terms of league titles too, which I was already aware of. Won't be long til Chelsea overtake though.

Brilliant rant from one of my favourtie radio pundits sean wheelock on the world football phone in. Basically a big rant about how beckham has taken the piss in the MLS and how he has been pretty useless. LA had a game yesterday but Beckham insisted on going to the royal wedding against the managers wishes, the great brian o driscoll however turned down an invitation to the wedding due to sporting commitments. Beckham is lucky that he has the same media (cant do wrong) coverage as Arry. While I have no problem with people reporting what a great money making machine he is. I cant stand when the media talk about what a great professional he is. He regulalry upset fergie for partying during the season, he moved to spain and didnt bother to learn the language and he has shown no commitment to LA and just happily picked up his pay packet. The way the media paint him to be some kind of saint is annoying.
