crowd barriers?

I got myself quite close to the front for Oasis in 2004, forgetting that I was nearly 40 and hadn't been at the front of a gig since god knows when. When they came on it bacame obvious to me that I was well out of my depth and it was a *real" struggle to get back to a distance where there was no crush.

Glad you posted. Thanks. I've always wanted to know. Is there a relationship between fast cars and little pricks?

But back on subject. The crowd barriers are really welcome. I just felt that the Glasto one needed to be a bit further back. Seemed more crowded than Reading.

Speed limits were introduced a long time ago and modern cars are more than able to safely do 90mph on a motorway, as BB points out the statistics all back this up so get off your high horse.

I agree, I'm not anti-police at all, they do a great job.

It's the (ex) government and the law-makers I have a problem with. Speed limits in this country are so stupid that as even you admit the police don't even enforce most of the time.

What's the point in having a law which over 50% of the population deliberately breaks on a daily basis?

I tried to quote but it didnt work

The person who asked if I was little ...

Nope not for a girl - I was stage centre though.

I was the one responsible for the raining glow sticks : )

I agree that the Police offer a valuable service at Glastonbury and have to be there. I just wish they could have some limits. I really don't want to see Police wandering through the campsites first thing in the morning or up at the stones. Punters need some space and not be watched big brother style 24/7. Walk the main pathways, if there's a problem then I will give you a whistle and you can come running. You are after all public servants, I am the public thus you are my servants. So wind yer necks in and act the part.

Sorry turned into a rant which I didn't expect.. I must look like a dodgy type because I seem to get searched all the time and it does my head in.

I have and it cost me three points and a £60 fine. To be fair I should've been paying more attention to my speed but sometimes all it takes is a momentary lapse and you can be doing a tonne without realising.

I was on a long straight clear stretch of motorway in the middle of the day and because my car's fairly new and smooth to drive 90/100 miles an hour can seem just like 60/70 sometimes.
