i'm going to get pie and mash at glasto cause i don't think i've ever seen anywhere selling it at a festival, and if i have, it probably looked minging.

Things I won't be doing again:

Pilton Porker - After hearing raves about it on here, and not having eaten due to the Lions game I ordered a double one. It took 20 minutes to cook. Depressing. Was nice though

Place by the Glade people on here rave about - Really expensive, and my meal came with a samosa but they were out. Asked to have something else in it's place or some money off and they got all stroppy with me. Ended up paying £7 for 3/4s of a meal in a supposedly "ethical" cafe. Pfft.

I like having a not-very-cheap and not-all-that-nice chicken chow mein at a festival. For some reason it has become a bit of a tradition to make sure I do it.

There is no food place I have ever become passionate about at Glastonbury. I think it's just because I eat for energy rather than the enjoyment of eating at festivals.

I can't remember what the stall was called but, you could buy a Giant yorkshire pudding with sausages on the bottom, mashed potato and beans on top was very nice and filled you right up for only £5! That's a hell of alot better than the ridiculously overpriced burgers and what not.

Did anyone visit the "Sausage Fest" last year? I wanted to just so I could make many jokes along the lines of "I had a sausage fest on the friday" - never actually visited the stall though - just had a photo outside it.

My favourite has got to be the seafood paella with prawn balti, from the seafood stall - I think it was up near the circus fields! It was absolutely lush!!!

Top Tip to establish wheat from chaff.

Having spent many years living (and eating) in Hackney and Brixton; If it says "Goat Curry" or even "Curried Goat" - avoid it, probably made by amateurs from a recipe they have found.

If it says Curry Goat - get in there. generally speaking, authentic Bajan / Jamaican vernacular denotes authenticity.
