Apparently only the lineup of one stage is being announced tomorrow. Any guesses as to which stage? I thought the soon to be renamed Jazzworld got booked fairly late...

we know you are going but please try and get it into your head that this festival is so utterly different from any other on this planet. You are going to really f**k people off if you still dont get it when you get there in person.

Read the posts, listen to what everyone is trying to tell you. You and your own personal written opinion as to how the line ups should be announced are a waste of your time and energy as Glastonbury runs by its own agenda, timescale and approach. Ickle Pogo isnt going to change a thing.

The system works, it aint broke and doesnt need fixing. The festival has always been linked in with the mystical and magical...the line ups are therefore all lovely and secret. Tbh...as the BBC and other media and the over exposure of Glasto has risen over the years, the fact that we find out a reasonable part of the line up months in advance is a pisser! Announcements in the national press as almost headline news in October...WTF?

I, just like anyone else who has paid to attend, have a right to voice criticism at how some things are handeled, and even though Glastonbury is different from any other festival, the line up is still an important part to me and a lot of others (you can't claim Glastonbury could continue without the music).

With the music line up being important to me, I can therefore voice opinion if I think I and others who have tickets, are getting pissed about over this issue. You can't claim Glasto doesn't have a bundle of bands who will have signed and sealed their fate for that weekend, and if this is so, barring any other contractual stipulations on announcement, they can be announced.

There's no hug thingumy on here, so can I just say, motherly hug, hopefully you'll understand all this after your first Glastonbury. May you look back on this thread and go (thingumy for that). Have a great time, I really hope the line up is to your liking, then rip up your programme and go do something much more interesting instead.

How do I have a shite attitude? I'm looking forward to a lot of stuff apart from bands that I've already mentioned here (leftfield tent, carrying booze about the areana, etc)

All I'm doing is listing in my opinion, something that they could quite easily improve and strikes me as a bit shit for folk paying tickets and stuff that they don't bother changing (information before the festival).

You can be negative about one thing and still look forward to going.
