Alot of people on these boards are religious about the festival.

and if you say something bad/wrong with it, they react in the same as if u had insulted their mother!!!

All I'm doing is listing in my opinion, something that they could quite easily improve and strikes me as a bit shit for folk paying tickets and stuff that they don't bother changing (information before the festival).

I'm with Ampersand on this, Glastonbury for me is built around the music, even if some of the best and most memorable moments of the weekend are nothing to do with music it is still the reason I'm there and (to take recent years as an example) a pyramid line-up of Macca, Blur and The Who would make it a better festival for me than U2, the Killers and Jay-Z. Yes there's always something else on but everyone needs at least a few acts they really like to build some of the days around.

I think where pogo is missing the point is that other festivals pay big money so are factored into a band's schedule for that reason, Glastonbury pays less because it is essentially charitable but the quid pro quo is that acts are annouced later so that tours can sell out, that's why the G lineup is so much bigger and better than anywhere else - late announcements are a small price to pay for the quality and quantity
