guessing we can't post the lineup until it's announced? (theres the scan from a mag with it in doing the rounds)

anyways, in for a treat with death with above 1979 - I saw their first show back together at SXSW on saturday evening - they absolutely slayed it, they'll ruin the radio 1 tent. 'odd future wolf gang kill them all' in the radio 1 tent will be insane as well, everyone was going crazy about them in texas.

Practically confirmed then, as if it wasn't already. Really don't know whether to go or not... love the Friday, but bands I like are few and far between on Saturday and Sunday. And since I'll be going alone, I don't know if I'm up for the whole weekend.

Should I go for it, hope for a good Lock-Up and try to make the best of it? Or save my money and just get a Friday day ticket? I've been so excited about it, and have been to the festival for the last three years and always had a great time, it seems a real shame to not go. It just looks so mediocre to me this year though... :(

So that more or less confirms the line up then? Efest been told to take it down?

Poor line up. There is a few stand out bands but not strong overall

are reading/leeds/fr losing interest from big bands playing the festivals now

'Staggering' ay!

I can honestly hand on heart say, that after 10 years in a row of Reading, that is without doubt the poorest lineup I've ever seen. It'll sell out granted, but there is just nothing on that poster that is any suprise or has the wow factor at all!

this is what has been posted on the reading festival facebook page

'We're deleting threads so as not to mislead anyone that is thinking about buying a ticket - that might see this poster and change their mind either way.'

and i posted on there saying that if that was true then they would have deleted all the other fake line up posters and they just deleted it

Its very meh, was going go for the Muse, but with only 4 bands I'd really love to see and seeing 3 of those at Glastonbury most probally it dosn't seem worth it. (Well 5/6 but thats clashing into get Muse who are why I'd be mainly buying the ticket)

The strokes day looks pretty fine though, pretty decent line up and the MCR mehhhhhhhhh
