Least favourite Glasto venue?

The Other stage is in a featureless area of the site. Nothing but a single flat mud puddle when it's rained. Sound can be atrocious. Most of the stalls around it seem to sell crap food. However, they do have some belting acts on it from time to time - e.g. Iggy Pop, Massive Attack etc.

The Dance Village isn't my cup of tea so just tend to walk through it once or twice during the festival. No complaints just not into most so-called dance music.

Pyramid stage can be ruined by flag w*nkers - otherwise it is a great venue to watch some bands.

Acoustic Stage layout needs revamping. Turning the tent around 180 degrees and moving the huge artists backstage area somewhere else and using that for the viewing public would help a lot.

Another vote for the Other Stage here. There is just nothing distinctive about it, I've seen plenty of good acts on there and always find it fairly easy to get the front, but it just has the feel of any generic stage at any generic festival.

Dance Village...doesnt work, is quiet and soulless, too feckin large and nasty. Bring back the uber Dance tent of the early Noughties...that tent f**kin rocked!

the pyramid stage sucks period

john peel is awesome at the front

other stage is great on the left hand side (as you look at it)

the park and jazzworld are nice venues

the g stage in the dance village has the highest fun quota for me

Yeah defiantly the Pyramid, it just gets far to packed, the toilets are too busy and you end up so far away from the stagenyou can barely see or hear whats going on, and unless you get near the front there is no real atmosphere. Went to see Madness last year, might as well have not bothered.

But the one good thing about it is that it draws a lot of people away from the other areas so alleviates congestion problems elsewhere.

I "should" like the Dance Village, but have others have said I find it a bit soulless and barren, and unless Dave Seaman or Tom Middleton are playing there I tend to get my dance fix at the Glade and the late night areas. Also the Other Stage is very flat a without a character of any notable description, better now the Queens Heads as been moved, just the sound bleed from the Glade now!!

I find that when the Other Stage finishes for the night, the area can have a bit of a edgy under current running though it, not nice. I particularly noticed this last year on the Friday night, I was in the Glade Lounge, Dave Seaman was about to start playing, I walked down to the toilets at the back of the Other Stage field, and the atmosphere was very un-Glastonbury like.

I don't like the Pyramid, as if you are going to run into any drunken aggressive behaviour, that's where it will be. Give me the more spangly areas like the dance village or Glade anytime. I'm a bit baffled as to why anyone finds the dance village intimidating. :P

Like the other stage and the side towards the glade but I agree towards the toilets on other side did feel a bit nasty some times at night last year. And the food vans along that stretch are for sure some of the worst in the festival.

Getting near the pyramid before or after a headliner seems to get harder every time!

The dance village for me at night. Its not that I don't really like it but I can never bring myself to miss a band and go and see a DJ when I can go out in london and see the said DJ in a club, saying that if Tiesto turns up I'll be at the front.

I always go through the dance village in the morning though just as the start the music starts around 11, grab a beer and have a wander through the tents to wake me up. Its normally just me and my mates and just the dj so I have to have a bit of a dance as I feel sorry for them

I hate the bleedin' bandstand.

Well, not really but otherwise it's just another Other Stage vote. Also a nod for Trash City etc between the hours of midnight-2am, but only because it gets stupidly busy down there.

Certainly nothing that would stop me going to any of them though...
