Get a gallon of cider and drop a handful of pro plus* in it instead.

if it is that rubbish why do so many scousers, scots, mancs , cockeneys and northers want to come down here nicking all the jobs for the locals then!!!! :P

*or a gramme of speed and a couple of microdots

Yes, but middle class (and middle aged) people don't go out half naked and get so mashed they end up pissing in the streets, screeching, mooning, fighting and shagging around and going home in an ambulance. Middle class people get trolleyed in the pub on bitter and drive home through the country lanes a bit tiddly, or they get pished at home on nice wine and ruin the Axminster by spilling the Pinot Noir...

If the OP wants an alcoholic diversion en route to Glasto, may I recommend a pint or two in Eli's in Huish Episcopi?

No, not sarcastic... In the town where I live the middle aged posh middle aged couples drive home from the Gastropub pished in their Jaaaaguars and the chavs go out fighting fuelled by Bacardi Breezers...

Hi, I'm travelling with folk who want to visit Buckfast Abbey before Glasto starts. Does anyone know the logistics of this and if it's worth going past the fest to turn back to it, traffic later on in the ngiht, etc?

No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site? Petrine ulica   Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.
