Glasto Excitement

Basically me and my mate keep on going through the same thing over and over again, when he is going to arrive at my house on tuesday, when we are setting off on wednesday and what we will be doing thursday friday saturday and sunday. But I like it however and he does too, it both makes us feel really excited about it

i've been totally hyper and excited since i got my ticket in october. i think about it all the time and i just want to run around screaming and shouting!!! i can't wait, i've never been so excited about anything in my life. june is too far away. i think i will explode before then.

I have ups and downs with it really, 1 week i'll be glastobating like fook, then it'll go outta my head for a bit..and so on....

Pfftt... who am i trying to kid, i'm excited everyday,,,...checking for any updates all the time and just cant wait for the full line up to be announced...

At times I can go for days without looking outwardly excited, but then conversely I also go for extended periods of boring the fook out of everyone I see/know/speak to, Honestly, I swear my wife is going to kick me square in the nuts if I don't shut up some days.

It's impossible to put into words how excited i am, and thats just about Stevie. It's my first Glasto, but it's been my dream to go, and I just don't know how i'm going to survive the 21st June.

I think that both of your are clearly either very sad and need to get a life or perhaps might possibly be suffering from OCD and should be receiving professional help It's [allegedly] only a festival after all and it's not like it's even next week either is it cos absolutely everyone knows that there's still 119 days, 10 hours, 13 minutes and 10 I mean 9 oh b*gger, 8 sod it 7 b*llox, and just a few seconds to go until the gates open. So get a grip, stop being quite so obsessed and just keep hanging around and posting on here, refreshing the forum index page every few mins to see if anything new has been posted, like most other normal peeps are

PS: It's not *really* exciting until the train tix are booked and that's not until almost April which is ages away yet

Trust me, E Festivals is THE main reason why I don't get on with my work in college... but somehow I manage to still get it done by the deadline and at a good standard, even got a distinction once!

It just feels like one of the most amazing things in the world to be one of the lucky people to get in the gates come June, it's like once a year there's a place to go to get away from all the shit of day to day life and just do whatever the f**k you want to do with no pressure to get it done quickly, it's just perfect. Think about it several times every day.

I've been constantly looking forward to it since I paid off the rest of my ticket. This will be the 8th festival that I've been to, but my first time at Glasto and I'm actually slightly nervous about it. The excitement outweighs the nerves though, so I'm sure by June I'll have completely forgotten about any worries that I've got and will be extremely excited by it all.

Only problem about the next few months of my excitement about going to the festival is that I've got my dissertation and exams to get out of the way before I can finally go. Oh well!

Also, god knows why but I'm even excited about trying out some of the food at the festival. The goat curry best be as amazing as others have said it is!

Really quiet at work today so have written out the first (probably of many) list of things to take and also done a route planner from hotel to festival.
