Gaga or no Gaga?

Hi.

I missed Gaga last year as I got times mixed up. Was wondering if people think she may play Glasto again this year? I would rather not pay out a small fortune to see her at the 02 next week if she is playing Glasto. Has anybody heard anything?

Thanks

The only place anyone has ever heard of this self-confirm was on these boards though from one person claiming they heard it on an unknown radio station in Manchester...

she wasn't in the country at the time and when I searched I couldn't find any record...nobody from the gaga fan sites had any clue so I believe this person was making this up.

I'd love to see her again...but for some reason I can't see it - purely because the festival last year was all part of her promotion yet now she's gone on to selling arena tours blah

Since the played Glasto last year for the cred, I imagine she will play a more commercial fest or two this year for the cash.

Cold, calculated business. Just like her image and music.

Reportedly headlining Lollapalooza.

Well given she was total rubbish last year I'd sooner she didn't come back again to be honest.

Was on a massive high after some awesome bands and took about three beers and three red bull to get me off the floor again by the time she'd killed the other stage stone dead.

Don't talk trash. I used to be in a very similar mindset but seeing what she has accomplished and achieved over the years it makes you realise she IS the business. She doesnt have people cooking up an image for her, writing songs for her or composing all her music. She is what she is and is pretty independent in doing it.

    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
    • Potentially rogue shout here but could see Rebecca Black in the running for a mid-afternoon spot. I know most people still remember her for Friday but lately she’s been putting out a lot of fun pop bangers, think this could be a very fun booking!
    • FFS why when there are pull outs does it always include so many of the names I had as must sees!
    • This is a pretty petulant stance.   I oppose him headlining because I love coming to Slam Dunk and he would be a very big reason why I wouldn't come. That doesn't mean they can't choose to do so, they obviously can, I would just stop coming to that version of Slam Dunk.   Another name that I'll throw out there as name I'd love is Biffy Clyro.
    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
