The were really good a couple of years ago. I was a little surprised as I only ever get to see them at Lovebox, where the music level is always really low due to council restrictions. It's all about Superstylin' on the Other Stage. :P

So since they've been announced for V today, not even headlining the tent, could we see them?

Maybe headlining Dance (but hopefully not haha)

But yeah, with the V announcement, surely it increases their chances - would love to see them again!

New album out soon, anyone reckon there's a chance they'll pop up at Glastonbury?

I'd say there's a more than decent chance.

Lovebox is the festival that GA helped set-up. Lovebox is owned by Mama Group. The Great Escape is owned by Mama Group. The Great Escape (and at least some of Lovebox) is programmed &/or booked by Martin Elbourne. Martin Elbourne is Glastonbury's senior programmer/booker.

I'd say there's a more than decent chance.

Not seen em for about 10 years live. Would love em, not just for their performance live but for the plethora of DJ sets they will also no doubt do around Glasto.

The live brass on Superstylin' always sends a shive down my spine so would do my level best to watch em.

They played mid-afternoon on the Pyramid in 2004. (It was sunny :P ) Same sort of timeslot again would be fine.

^^^ This would have been great ! 'At the River' was excellent btw - just fitted the sunny afternoon vibe. :P

Won't be there with them this year alas - another casualty with the Friday U2 clash .. :P

I have tried such things in the past and seem to get worst of both worlds so stick to one gig at a tine nowadays unless the artist has a epic fail then I'm off pdq ...

Really enjoyed the last Groove Armada set I saw in 2004 so will leave the good memories of them intact :P

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
