My housemates. They came in at 3:30am after a night out on Monday, screaming and yelling, which woke me up. This happens a lot, and usually I don't mind too much, but I've had trouble sleeping lately so I got proper irritated. I told them they'd woken me up, but they carried on being loud pricks and didn't apologise. Now they're acting like I'm in the wrong for being bothered by it, when I've told them that all they had to do was say sorry and I'd put it behind me.

And then I washed all their bloody dishes and took out 7 bin bags worth of rubbish from the kitchen because I didn't want to live in the mess, and I got no thanks whatsoever.

The "Injury Lawyers 4U" adverts where some actor from Z-Grade TV shows gives the distinct impression that if you f**k with them he will personally come round to your home and break your legs.

Who the f**k watches this advert and thinks "Hrm....I'll give them a call"?

Radio 1 playing Lady Gaga's new song twice in a row then once an hour for the rest of the day. The fact it's a clear rip off of Express Yourself by Madonna is neither here nor there.

Never used to bother me as much but since using it again recently-the majority of public transport. The di*ks who have no respect for anybody else so shout and play music out loud full blast (do they really think that anybody wants to hear that shit)?? Rant rant rant!

I've had barely any voice for a week now and there's still no sign of improvement. I switch betweensound like a bloke/wierdo/sex line worker and having no voice whatsoever. This is really not good in my job (working a children's playcentre doing parties). I have tried cough medicine, lozengers, inhalers, cold and flu remedies - nothing is working :(

A german geordie had just joined work today and I can not understand a single thing he says.

He isn't a geordie. He's a monkeyhanger. Massive difference.

My neighbours really do my head in, its a guy in his 50's and his son who is late 20's. They are the noisiest people ever. I can hear the TV and them playing computer games - solidly for about 6 hours a night, same noise over and over again. To top it all, this is now the 3rd night in less than a week that they are looking after the son's wee boy, he is only about 2 and runs about constantly (up till 2am the other night), I know its not the wee boys fault but it is so annoying. They have laminate in their flat so you can hear every footstep. We've tried speaking to them but all we get is abuse.

I'd love to move but at the moment there is 2 flats the same as mine for sale in my street, one is mega cheap so beginning to feel really trapped.

Anyway, rant over x

    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
