How Old is too old?!

I am trying to convince a friend of mine to get a Glasto ticket if and when they go on re sale following the cancellations and she hit back saying that she was too old to go to a festival (She is only 36)!

I am a Glasto virgin but have been to my fair share of other festivals over previous years, but need help to try and explain how Glasto differs from the norm!

Me (34) and husband (36) go every year and still love it as much as our 1st one in 1995. The whole of the group I go with are over 30 - some are in their 50s. So you're never too old - age is just a number!

None of us have ever been to Glastonbury before and the ages range from 30 to 47 TBH I have no problem over my age at festivals (unlike the real world) even at Leeds I felt totally at home and that place has a rep for being a unruly playground full of silly little children

Glasto is the best place for kids of all ages

this year I saw a woman who looked like she was in her mid-late 60's, carrying a flag which said 'Gran and grandad - Glasto virgins 09'

First Glastonbury 2007, aged 53 with my 22 year old daughter - both been ever since and got tickets for 2010 - you will enjoy it whatever your age.

they were sat side by side on their camp chairs, sun hats on watching the specials with the above flying proudly!!!

well if you had been to every Glasto you would have to be at least 40, 50, 60 ... there is no age limit, im 37...and id go if i was 73

Like has been said before, you're only too old when your body is telling you enough is enough. I'm 28 this year so hopefully I'll have at least another 30 years in me.

I seen a few folk last year that were at least 70. You're never too old for Glastonbury.

Hi, I went to Glastonbury for the first time last year with a mate of mine and we were both celebrating our 60th birthdays. We had been to other festivals over the years but first time for Glasto. We are going again this year and hopefuly for many years to come. As some one else said its not your physical age but your mental age. I love music of all kinds and just becouse I have lasted this long does not mean my enthusiasm has diminished for music. If you love music and all that goes with Glastonbury I recommend anybody to go. Those who think that I am to old to be there, be warned you will be where I am today sooner than you think. It sure dont half catch up with you fast.
