What's the most efficient/drinkable unchilled drink to bring?

Anf sweets flavoured vodka, I'm going to experiment with Black Jack vodka for a party next week as a pilot run, will go through as many other flavours as possible to see which works best in time for next year.

All for purely scientific reasons of course..

I'd just add that we took way too much booze this year (as first timers) and ended up giving a load away just so we didn't have to cart it back. The red wine is a decent call though.

We did bump into some people who were wearing hydration packs with a 2 or 3 litre bladder of STRONG short+mixer combos. That wasn't a bad idea, but we all got shit faced in no time and I was in bed before midnight on the Thursday, pissed as a mo-fo, sunburnt and dehydrated. Not good.

My mate has decided to experiment this year pre-Glasto with some aerosol pipe freezing agent that plumbers use to see if he can chill tinnies with it. If so, then we may have rucksacks full of Stella and some nasty, nitrogen-based science to get them cold. I'll let you all know how the "Brainiac" bit goes!

Plenty of Southern Comfort and probably a box or two of wine. Going to take around 30 cans I think and sit them on the groundsheet in the porch with a foil blanket over the top to keep them cool.

Sadly I won't be on the Brothers as the thought of cider makes me feel queasy. I'm thinking about buying a coolbox that claims to keep ice frozen for 5 days (@32c ambient temp!), and so I'll be bringing a cheeky Chablis (in a box of course) for the afternoons, with Mojitos and Martinis for early evening the side benefit will be the ice will keep my morning bacon and ground coffee nicely chilled.

For those late night/early mornings at the stone circle a hipflask full of cherry brandy+amaretto mix goes down nicely.

The cheapest vodka they could find -- mixed 50/50 with grapefruit juice, hardly tasted alcoholic - but it was.

Rose wine - more pallatable than red i think. And if you find a decent one (Not higher priced but just nice tasting) you are onto a winner!

I still like some chilled white too. Get a washing up bowl full of water and drape a wet tea towel over it. Put your white drinks in it. Evaporation causes cooling so, as the water is drawn into the tea towel and evaporates so the water temperature falls and the cans in the bowl stay cool.

My personal favourite is Prosecco (Italian bubbly) that you can get in 175cl tins from Lidl at the right time of year but it will give you chilled lager or whatever you like.

i love cider, but it must be chilled, i can't drink it warm...so i buy the odd pint at the Cider Bus

spirits make me drunk very quickly, i tend to fall over & go to sleep, but i don't want to miss anything...so...

my drink of choice is...boxed red wine...decant into small plastic water bottles...carry in your jacket pocket or back pack...

All good. Mixers are available on site, the yellow stalls have large bottles of the usual soft drinks.

Spiced Rum waters down well (3 to 4 parts of water to 1 part rum is known as grog!) and is quite refreshing.

Baileys that comes in those little plastic bottles is worth packing if you are taking a stove for morning coffees.
