You're doing it wrong!!!!

I used to love crowdsurfing in my youth. I understand why people want to do it. I'm almost 30 now and probably never will crowdsurf again - I haven't for 10 years or so now.

If you think crowdsurfing is good, try stage diving! But don't try it at Glastonbury.

There's a time and place for crowdsurfing (and stagediving). If you don't know where and when, please don't do it!

Health and Safety taking over the world, once again.. Every year, more restrictions being put in place, just enough so that we don't notice, and not bother... I just wonder when people are going to start opening there eyes and realise how much we are being FUKED by the government.

It seems like every member on eFestivals doesn't want anyone to do anything remotely fun at Glastonbury. Crowd surfing is part of the whole gig experience in my opinion. No-one ever really gets too injured do they? People need to relax at little bit.

Nowt wrong with crowd surfing and to be expected down the front of any gig, festival or not in my opinion. I also doubt very much they would kick you out of the festival for it.

I used to crowdsurf back in the day but back in 'my' day was 25 years ago.

Tbh I'm beginning to question the crowd makeup for Glasto. This week alone I have seen threads about no pushing to the front, no talking, no flags, no crowdsurfing. Get a grip people..

I do however agree with no brollies and chairs past the mixing desks though. I think a brolly is far more dangerous than a crowd surfer.

Having had my ear ripped open by a crowdsurfer's belt (made all the more antagonising by the fact I was nowhere near "the action", some prick decided to surf from the back and landed directly on my shoulder, coming down across the back of my ear), Crowdsurfing is incredibly selfish and can get to f**k

Please tell me which politcal party is banning anti-social c**ts from deciding they have a right to smash me in the head and they'll have my vote for life.

Its so true. Some people on this forum definitely need to lighten the f**k up. If you don't like the physical nature of a gig then don't go to the front.

Glasto ain't a flippin funeral, Its a "festival". Flags, pushing your way to the front, crowd surfing and yes even talking are all part of it. If these things really annoy and you want perfect sound, perfect vision, and no one pushing past you or crowd surfing, then may i suggest you're best off watching it at home.

I had a tooth kicked out by a crowd surfer.

Two things now happen if you crowd surf over or near me.

1 you get a swift punch in the knackers

2 I under your shoes and nick them

If we all agree to punch these antisocial little shits then it will stop

Time and place for it. You have to judge the situation. If it’s upfront at a Rage Against the Machine, then there shouldn’t be no problem due to the nature of the gig. However, at festivals it’s a different kettle of fish and rarely works out for all concern.

What acts would you crowdsurf to this year? I can’t think of anyone, and therein lies the problem. You’re more likely to come across as a c*** for crowdsurfing at a really inappropriate time.

I love crowdsurfing, it’s great fun, but it’s only fun when the crowd is with you on it. If you do it when the mood of the act and crowd doesn’t suit, well you deserve a punch in the nackers.

I seem to remember a solitary person crowd surfing for "Street Spirit Fade Out" during Radiohead at Glasto '03. And while this seems like a wholly inappropriate song to surf to, I can't help but be jealous. It must have been an amazing experience to float over the crowd during such an amazing song.

I was a photographer in the pit for one of the Enemys early gigs at the ledhefieadmil and I saw a surfer proper break his harm. He was holding at and screaming, a massive gash in it and his forearm. He landed the barrier with his arm. I've seen a few people knocked out cold when coming over the barrier, espescially when things get a bit too hectic.

If I see one coming, I personally just move out of the way and let them hit the deck...
