We all know they're a Marmite band.

So do you love 'em, or do you hate 'em?

Be honest. Of course this won't be a proper representation of the population of Glastonbury as a whole. But it will be interesting to get a board wide tally nonetheless.

I was never really into them at the start but over the last couple of years I have found I actually quite like them!! I like it when a band creeps up on you like that!

Personally I am really glad that they will be at Glastonbury, because I can't afford to go and see them when they come to Aberdeen!!

:P

Seen them a few times and never overly impressed. Last time they were in Aberdeen they weren't too bad but their set at Reading last year was woeful. Always found them pretty dull at T as well and the singer's vocal is very weak.

I love their music.

But their lyrics make me want to break things, mostly my own head to try and erase them.

And their some prominent in their songs it's hard to avoid them.

The first album was great - but there were the warning signs. When they just sing about nothing they're great. But "Price of Gas" showed when they try to sing a song about something, lyrically all he can do is just say exactly what he's talking about. There's no subtlety at all.

A Weekend In The City is sadly full of songs directly about things. And the lyrics make me want to hurt myself, apart from The Prayer which is ok. Song For Clay in particular makes my blood boil. "I order foie gras and I eat it with complete disdain", not to mention one of the top 5 worst moments in music "BECAUSE EAST LONDON IS A VAMPIRE".

Flux was really good, but I haven't bothered with the new album because I can't get away from that nonsense over the top of quite good songs. I'd rather they went post rock instrumental.

Edited for some appalling gramatical mistakes

I'm really looking forward to seeing them again. I wasn't that big a fan when they came out (I thought the lead singer sounded a bit like the fella from Fine Young Cannibals and they were a bit 80s) but I saw them at Glasto in 2007 and thought they were excellent so have really got into them now. I love the way they keep evolving their sound, adding new instruments instead of just churning out guitar based indie like so many of their utterly dull contemporaries (practically everyone that played the Other Stage last year) and are pushing the boundaries a bit, just like Radiohead do.
