Any chances the Pixies will play glasto? - This would absolutely make my day if they got announced....

I saw them at V fest 2001 or 2 I think before the strokes and they were absolutely awe-some.

Shame V doesnt make them like that any more....

yep, have to say I thought them far from special when I saw them at least a couple of times that first summer they reformed.

They were awesome at the Brixton show I went to on the comeback tour. I may actually cry tears of joy if we get Neil Young, Nick Cave and the Pixies on the same bill

I was in bed last night thinking that I would love to see The Pixies again one day now that I know a lot of their stuff... then this... at IOW... who don't sell day tickets... Where is my mind? I may have to get a weekend ticket

I don't think it's likely for Glasto, IOW surely wouldn't allow their Headliner and 2nd slot to play other fests!!?

another one here who went to the V 2004 for pretty much the pixies...

wouldn't go back again, but looking back on the lineup for that year; pixies, strokes, muse, faithless,, rodrigo y gabriela, massive attack, kings of leon, primal scream....seems a fair bit better than this years to say the least.

Pixies before Young would be perfect....love to hear "hey" again.

I thought they were dead for good, my favourite band and since i didn't really know them in '05 when i saw them at Reading, i feel i still need to tick them off my list! here's hoping they'll play, would be incredible!

Please Please Please let them be playing. Havent been too bothered about any of the headliners this year but the Pixies are one of my favourite bands. Loved their set at Leeds 05.

Here's hoping they do a few non festival shows, particularly up in Scotland. Seen them twice, stunning band with a flawless back catalogue.

The Pixies are legendary. I would love to see them at Glastonbury.

Would love them to play Glastonbury but I really don't think it'll happen. Saw them at the Kentish Town Forum (or whatever it's called this week) in 2004 and they were absolutely amazing.

It's a pity you can't get day tickets for IOW, I'd make that trip just for them. Will just have to hope that they announce some concerts of their own.
