No problems, I may see 'em - depending on clashes naturally! I believe day tickets are still on sale so good luck

I have 2 day ticks for sat and sunday, would I be able to stop in the free camping on both days and keep tent there?

You'll be able to arrive Saturday morning, stay Saturday night, get up for Sunday morning and stay Sunday night - so yes. You may have some problems with wristbands - you'll need to leave the site Sunday morning and queue up to get your new wristband, but no-one will touch your tent!

Any ideas on a Thom Yorke setlist?

hopefully most of The Eraser and maybe some songs from the Spitting Feathers EP?

I was looking on youtube and obviously he's barely played any of his solo stuff live, but when he does it's very stripped down or just acoustic. When it's not played acoustically Johnny has played alongside him :D.

I would imagine if he's got that early sunday slot he'll go for a more accoustic set? Maybe wrong but whatever he does will be one of the highlights of the weekend for me!

thom yorke! what a scoop.

that's almost tempting enough for me to try and work there again this year.

I've just put my name forward to work there this year (Have been umming and aahhhing for a while but Thom was the final push I needed!). Any useful tips or advice? First time I've done anything like this and am tad apprehensive :D

What role have you applied to work / volunteer and where?

I might be interested in doing this too

Environmental Health monitor. There are details of various volunteer positions on the Info page of the Latitude website

    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
