Does anyone know the name of the village that crazy golden coloured German church is in on route to the ring from Hahn? It's in a really nice wooded area in a little town thats on a hill.

plus... i want to go to a2.. and its closed at 12 at night.. probably i will be there at 1.. is it a rule that they close at 12 or i will be ok??

How many folks are going/we meeting at hahn the reason i ask is...

I thought i would see how much a taxi would be to get us from hahn to the ring (via Lidl of course!)

I got a price back of 150 euro for a mini-bus for up to 8 people...if there is 6 of us thats 25 euro each which is awesome and no faffin about in Koblenz trying to carry all our crap - and probably cost the same as well.

You think you guys would be up for that?

lol that sounds awesome K, there will be 4 of us and we should be meeting you and Dave at Hahn then getting our asses down to the ring one way or another . Two of the guys coming with me this year are RAR Virgins and Dan dosent care about anything as long as he gets there lol. That sounds like a good price and we might even be able to find a couple of stragglers at Hahn that can jump in for a cheaper journey. Sounds good to me, straight in and straight to the good stuff

lol yeah, nice one i just asked Dave on msn if he wants to jump in on this but he's afk atm lol. I kinda wanna camp where we did last year it seemed pretty good, bout a 15min walk but it was in a pretty good area imo lol, you were just a bit further up wasnt you lol? only a short walk down to that village to with the shop that opened for 30mins a day

thats true we meet pretty good folks down that end - and the showers were close which is always a bless and i forgot about the wee village shop - so glad we found lidl last year it coulda been disastrous and you may have withered away into nothing without the purchased bbq!

Just been into Aldi because i was told they've got some camping shit on offer, got a blow up pillow, wind up torch and a swiss army style cutlery set with knife fork spoon, and all the openers etc for like a tenner well good!
