Im driving from brussels on thurs morning and planning on D9 as that seems to be a "safe" option for thursday camping. Looks on the map like all I have to do is head in from the east and make a right as I enter the grounds. Is it that easy??

Also we have 3 tents, are we gunna get a space together or are we gunna have to split up?

Can't wait for it now, well excited!!

Also gonna be heading from Zeebrugge on thursday morning, gonna have a SatNav with us but is it signposted when you get a bit closer ? Take it its easy enough to get to ?

I'm not really to fussed about camping really close to the arena, main thing is being able to get 4 tents and a gazebo up together, are there attendants that point you to certain car parks / campsites when they get full or do they just leave you to it to sort yourself out ?

Just look for the Nurburgring GP circuit signs, or just follow any clapped out car with a bending rear axle full of students, pretty easy to find.

Car parks are kind of organised, you'll get some direction of where to park. Camping however is a free for all, grab your tents first and find a plot, get the rest later. The car parks get closed when full, but I have yet to see anyone turned away with a tent in their hand, somewhere there is always a place for a tent or two.

Good idea with just taking tents first (quickly nash past all the folk dragging massive bags along and get a decent place before tham ! :D ) how far roughly is it from parking to the campsite ?

Is there usually any queing to get into the campsite, or can you walk back to your car and fetch the rest of your gear without any probs ?

Many thanks

When you enter the car park you get a sticker on your windshield and can then leave and enter as you please. A closed parking lot only means that they don't give out stickers for that one anymore and that new cars won't be allowed on it.

If your mates are on a camping lot but the parking is full you can drive to the entrance, unload your stuff and park your car somewhere else.

Social media needs regulating same as publishers, if they have algorithms that push whatever to people then they are effectively publishers anyway. The problem is just going to get worse and worse.

    • That’s actually one of the clearest rundowns I’ve seen, cheers. The transport setup sounds way smoother than most festivals, and the short queues alone make it sound worth it. The barn capacity thing is good to know though, missed sets like that can be frustrating if you’re not prepared.
