  1. Interesting, knowing Beans I have a feeling he may open the day with his Little Bee stuff for the families. That's the only reason I can think of for two sets.

    2024 Headliners

Not so sure, Prince at the O2, when he realised he was running out of time, did an absolutely barnstorming medley. It was awesome beyond belief, made everybody happy.
  3. https://pitchfork.com/news/sigur-ros-announce-2023-orchestra-tour-releasing-new-album-in-june/amp/ Big Glastonbury hole in the tour dates, do we think this may detour via the Farm? Would make a great Park headliner.
  4. Definitely my favourite double bill on the Pyramid, although the 2002 Faithless performance edged the 2010 one. 2010 and 2019 are my favourite festival years as well!
  5. Worst is probably worth a separate thread, but the one that stands out for me was Primal Scream before the Stones, and I'm a fan
  6. Scissor Sisters is another one that, in my head, was earlier in the day. Went along to keep my wife company, but absolutely loved it. No I think about it, I've seen almost as many epic sub headliners, as I have epic Headliners.
  7. I'd forgotten this one, this rounds out my top 3. Honourable mention to Sam Fender for last year and Kasabian in 2009. Struggling to remember all of the subs in 2002-2005 period, as no Clashfinders available.
  8. This is like my wife has curated a stage, she's incredibly happy with that.
  9. So who is your favourite sub headliner on the Pyramid, who is the best you've seen in this slot, who warmed you up for the main event. My favourite was at my first Glastonbury in 2002 with Faithless on before Coldplay, second favourite was Faithless in 2010 before Stevie.
  10. Love your work, can't wait to see this one. It's become a tradition to seek it out each year.
  11. I took mine for the first time last year. Did wonders for my feet and legs over the weekend. One of the advantages of the camper van, little luxuries like that.
  12. Yusuf, Elton, Texas, not sure I'll see anyone else that is on the initial poster. Not concerned though
  13. Hot 8 Brass Band have Bearded on their tour poster, I'll take that. Saw them in New Orleans, quality band
  14. Thanks to this board, currently listening to Ren, not my usual type of music, but enjoying a lot. I love a song that tells a tale. Others on frequent rotation at the moment are Kid Kapichi, Red Rum Club, Reytons, Snuts and Madness
  15. Kid Kapichi at the Brudenell were on awesome form last night, really hope they get a slot on the Farm. Left field would be a good fit
  16. Only just recently started getting the New Bristol stuff on tap up here but what I've tried, I've liked. Had a salted caramel popcorn and a dark chocolate and cinder toffee one at the weekend. I think they're ok, but not as good as the plain cinder toffee one, which I love. Brew York have a similar issue with their Tonkoko beer. They do a load of slight variations and play with the AbV, but very few are as good as the original.
  17. They're a cracking live band and they have some great lyrics. I'm far from a teen and I think the boys are top drawer. Definitely one of my favourite new bands, really hope they get a slot on the farm. 5 out of the 6 in our group would be ecstatic.
  18. Yellowstone is one of my favourite TV series, although I know very few people who've ever watched it in this country. Enjoyed the first two episodes of Physical 100 on Netflix. Think Gladiators crossed with Squid Games. My wife wasn't impressed when she found out they were releasing it slowly.
  19. I'd rather the Reytons were playing. Their album reached no. 1 today, no record label deal, just a whole lot of fans. Would be awesome on the farm!
  20. The Brooklyn beer was a good addition in 2017, they were the only pints I bought that weekend. But they are still Carlsberg beers. I would rather support independents but if it needs to be Carlsberg , why can't they stock the like of Brooklyn, London Fields or any of the small brewers that they've purchased in the last few years.
  21. I had a Jaipur X for elevenses at Bearded in 2017, led to my friends calling it the swirly beer, as that's how it made me feel. I saw a bottle in my local for a couple of quid more than I paid at Bearded. @AlvoramI'd throw Northern Monk, North Brewing and Brew York in the mix, all fantastic brewers with a good range.
  22. Very happy with the Maui Waui line up - Bloodshake Chorus, Town of Cats, New York Brass and Crinkle Cuts is a good start. Now time for some research, already discovered RudeSix off the main poster. It's nearly time for the fields again
  23. It really is, from watching the 'Hi Ren' video, it turned into a 2 hour Ren binge. But that one came up just after. Those two videos had me absolutely captivated. As you say, great storytelling. It was Violet's Tale that really got my wife. Just a fantastic trilogy of songs. Can't wait to see him live
  24. Very eloquently put, just in the midsts of a Ren binge (after @Sawdusty surfer recommended) and read this. Summed up my thoughts very well. So talented, with some awesome videos. The storytelling is off the charts, really enjoying.
