  1. Lots of outrage on FB over the decision to curb the family orientated areas. Not sure how they will police a curfew on children after 7!
  2. It was cringe worthy, but at least they didn't get too much screen time. Didn't detract too much from the overall quality of the series.
  3. The Lottery Winners were awesome, due to COVID, our gig dates all got rearranged and ended up seeing them 3 times in 4 weeks. They were my first gig back (rescheduled so many times), saw them at my first festival back (Beautiful Days) and then they played Lost Evenings. Tom even twerked me in the queue! Frank was also excellent.
  4. I thought that they would probably headline one of the stages
  5. Looking forward to finishing this tonight, I thought episode 6 was a fantastic bit of TV
  6. Thanks for posting that, enjoyed immensely. Some people are far too talented / have too much time on their hands 😉
  7. He has for my crew too,saw him at Lost Evenings a few weeks ago, standing in last minute for someone, such a lovely human. Off to see him at Wroot Rocks in November, he never disappoints. Loved him on the Greenpeace stage, although I always think is spiritual home is Boomtown, the crowds watching him there have grown massively over the years
  8. Not so sure, there are a few on there I've never even heard of, so I'll probably give a few of them a try.
  9. So we have the first confirmed headliner, but which band have caught your attention over the last few years that you would love to see play on the Farm. These can be new bands or those with albums released since the last festival, I have so many on my wishlist; In no particular order The Specials, really want to hear some of Encore and Protest Songs The Reytons The Lathums Arlo Parks The Lottery Winners Lily Moore The Snuts Sam Fender Alabama 3 I think there is a good chance of all of these playing at some point, somewhere Who do you want to see play somewhere on the Farm, I've had so many good tips from this site ( also some terrible ones). Keen to hear your thoughts.
  10. Up to episode 6, really enjoying it, but then again Battle Royale is one of my favourite films.

    The Reytons

You're in for a treat, hope you enjoy as much as I did. The crowd was definitely up for it.

    The Reytons

Saw them last night in Leeds, awesome live performance, had the crowd bouncing. Really hope they play somewhere on the farm next summer. Any other fans on here?
  13. I'm actually relieved that the headliners don't really do it for me. Saw all three headliners in 2007 and 2013, that's what I love about the festival, it caters for all tastes, some years it's your bag, other years it's not. I haven't seen a Pyramid headliner for the last two festivals and had amazing times. So much to see and do! McCartney was amazing in 2004, so I will be back at the Pyramid for a headliner. Looking forward to it!
  14. It's a belter, they played some of the tracks at Beautiful Days, some fantastic live tracks
  15. 1. Alabama 3 2. The Lathums 3. Sufjan Stevens & Angelo De Augustine
  16. Big Frank fan, love him, been following him since 2007 and seen him in excess of 50 times, including 3 Lost Evenings but I agree. Time to spend that money on 3 up and coming bands that possibly need more support.
  17. 2022 will be number 14, I was dragged to the first !one, very unimpressed that we were camping at Glastonbury when I wanted to be in the Lake District. How little I knew!
  18. The first two seasons were fantastic, definitely on a par with Succession. Lewis and Giamatti are excellent and the rest of the cast are good. No one is really very likeable but they are interesting characters.
  19. Just binged Ted Lasso, thought I wouldn't like it at first, but it quickly improved and can't wait for the final few episodes of series 2. Just about to finish season 5 of Billions which should lead nicely into the new series of Succession.
  20. First one was 2002, changed my life. Since then I've managed to get a ticket every year I've tried. Only missed 2011 and 2015, I was a Primary school teacher and couldn't get time off, and cried both times watching it on TV. Can't imagine life without it, it's been a couple of tough years.
