  1. Good point. As you were then.....
  2. Agreed. Given the proximity to Gate D, and access up the same route as Sticklinch, it would be madness to leave those fields empty when the set up for a popular accommodation choice has been proven.
  3. I'm not sure about the entrance but it wouldn't be a surprise to find the festival have secured use of the land from Steanbow who own it for either new CV space, or for authorised off-site camping as they did with Worthy View. An authorised off-site pitch-your-own with decent facilities priced just below WV would fly off the shelves as an option.
  4. Even with the recent heavy showers it's too early to tell what site conditions would have been like. The very hot spell would have certainly dried things up considerably, and rain since then has been equalled by a stiff breeze so, without the benefit of actually walking the site, I'd guess ground conditions at present are about perfect. If we had a festival to look forward to I think the weather watchers would have been at the "all to play for" stage at present.
  5. Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable. It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings. Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
  6. Tea-towels. We need tea-towels 🙏
  7. Some interesting points here, although very little that hasn't been said before, and a distinct sense of entitlement from the one side that doesn't sit well with me. I've got a lot of things to do that mean I won't be getting dragged further into the debate but ok here's a starter.....if it wasn't for the "Tourists" there'd be nothing for the Veterans and Crew.

    In Memoriam

Legendary saxophonist D*ck Parry who graced multiple Pink Floyd tracks including "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" sadly gone at 83. Very fortunate to have witnessed his talents live on multiple occasions. Shine on D*ck, wherever you may now be....RIP https://www.nme.com/news/music/d*ck-parry-saxophonist-and-pink-floyd-collaborator-dies-aged-83-3947093
  9. ...but will she bring back the Mason's Arm's 🙏😉
  10. Ref Love Fields I have it on good authority, from someone who has contacted them, that they are in consultation with GFEL about the proposed changes, and also that as they lease fields to the festival they have no need to be impacted or change their location. How GFEL can move the fence back to Pylle Road but keep Love Fields outside it, if indeed they do, remains to be seen.....
  11. Thank you for that spot. I think the new Agenda for tomorrow's April meeting has only been posted today and beforehand was simply linking to the March agenda.
  12. PATCHWORK 130 PAUL MCCARTNEY 100 (+10)
  13. Just to note that the potential changes to Gates B/C and Pyramid orientation are up again for discussion at next Wednesday's Pilton Parish Council Meeting....Item 190... https://www.piltonparishcouncil.org/_files/ugd/b07813_e324f442ea67495c9031b57d8bb26032.pdf
  14. I'm not even sure a login/Captcha process would prevent scaling up as, at least under the current queuing system, it would still likely be possible to create multiple unique queue positions, and to then login under a different TM account for each queue that got to the buying page. There is also the sledgehammer/nut consideration for GFL, who may choose to leave as is rather than pay TM to engineer the system, knowing that doing so eats into potential donations to the Festival's charitable causes.
