Record Store Day - What Did You Get?

Did anyone here venture out for Record Store Day? Thought it might be nice to share what everyone got...

To kick off, my boyfriend and I picked up a few things from Glasto artists..

- Run the Jewels RSD exclusive

- Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady

And from rumoured Glasto artists..

- Blur - Parklife

- Flaming Lips - Bad Days (ok..that's a stretch rumour)

And a few other cool things..

- Blink 182 - Mark, Tom, and Travis Show

- Dave Hause, Supergrass, Kinks, Small Faces, Social Distortion and Rise Against RSD exclusives

Need to have a quiet weekend in to listen to them all now :-)

Didn't get anything this year, nothing really appealed to me. I've not looked at the US list yet though, last year I got The Wizard Of Oz soundtrack and Just Like Heaven - The Cure/Dinosaur jr versions on one 7" from the US on ebay so I might pick some of their sweet stuff up again.

i wanted the onyeabor remix 12" but jumbo in leeds had sold out

i also wanted the larry levan remix 12", but same.

they can bugger off anyway the overpriced bastards. a record shop is for life not just for the industry equivalent of christmas day. the labels have turned it into a huge money making circus.

on the positive side, saw mik artistik and polar bear for free.

After I posted this, we went back to our local record store and there was a "The Magic Whip' (Blur) ice cream van giving out free ice cream and flexi disks. Bit gimmicky, but I enjoyed it
