The way things are going with Pyramid headliners falling through, they might even be a backup for the Sunday night slot.

There'd be a lot of people questioning whether they could still pull it off/complaining it was only Billy etc, but they've got the tunes to silence the doubters.

Hearing Tonight, Tonight with a strings section being belted out of a starry Pyramid would be sublime.

I know it would have to be because of limited options, but if somebody pulled out and they were already booked to play the Other/sub, then they could easily step up still.

Fewer people would question it than if Mumford or somebody were drafted in.

they could never headline Pyramid. they may still be a tight live band and have all the hits, but there's no denying that after the initial hype of their reunion, people's interest in them has wained (and Zeitgeist being shit probably didn't help)

but Other headliner is perfect for them. still big enough stage to make the epicness of Tonight Tonight ring out, but won't have the shitty Pyramid crowd of 'i'll just watch this because i have nothing better do watch'ers
