Steven Wilson Jr touring would be a good fit.

Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem) as he’s touring too next year.

Royston Club. Kingfshr. Bleachers. Spacey Jane. Gang Of Youths. Overpass

Brian Fallon would kill it

also, used to be one of my go to stages back when it was John Peel. Look at the power on those 2 years I went

Quite like looking back at old line ups,  Look at the positions of Aurora & Dua Lipa!

Randomly despite loving a lot of those acts and being their i think I  only saw Black Honey, She Drew The Gun & Bat For Lashes.

Also new Blondshell album announced today for September. Last played in 2024 and with two new albums now I think she could be in the frame for a return.

She clashed with Shania last time she played and the tent was barely half full…certainly the emptiest I’ve seen ever Woodsies. Wouldn’t expect to see her back unless she has a hit.

Certainly gone up a gear after "if you asked for a picture" would she play Woodsies again though, maybe Park this time?

Get Unpeople on there early doors similar to how we’ve had High Vis & Lambrini Girls. Great balance of melody, singalongs & heavy guitars.

New Fat Dog album out in October. Was a weekend highlight last year in the tent - makes me think would they get a higher slot or maybe go on the Park?

They played 4 times - at 25 and 4 times at 24 -  be giving Fatboy Slim a run for his money soon enough - They are a top tier live act though - New material has been long overdue though.

I wonder whether the wonderful Rachel Chinouriri would sit well as an evening Woodsies slot.  She has decent spotify numbers but not really the kind of mainstream success yet for the big stages, I think.

A huge fan. I saw her at Avalon stage last year and she was absolutely fantastic. New album is pending so this feels like a good fit.

Would love to see it! She was really excellent at Big Weekend this year and has had lower positions the last few years so I reckon she should definitely get a prominent spot, especially since she played unreleased music when I saw her.

Not sure if they'd take it but would love to see Feeder make an appearance next year, been going through their back catalogue lately and think it could be an excellent hour of music. Their Download set in the tent this year looked like it went down a storm so I think it would be great to see them on the farm.

As well as Avalon in 2025, she also had a mid afternoon spot on the Other in 2024.

They seem to be at a pivotal point in there career.  Where the penny has dropped that if they keep releasing new material that people seem to generally hate they will fade out of existence so they have started dipping into there classic era again -

Aye, they were bloody marvellous last year alright. Were given a much more prominent slot at ATN later in the summer (90 minutes) and joked they would have to play the songs a lot more slowly and pad it out with a bit of waffle between tracks! In the end, they just went hammer and tongs and finished early (better idea). So new stuff definitely welcome!

Yeah 90 minuet set is wildly ambitious for a band whos one album is 33 minuets long  lol

New Beck album on the way in September, do we think he’d accept Woodsies headliner or would he be on Pyramid/Other? I would love to see him get a proper reception after 2016.

No idea how big he is these days but I think he'd be a great Woodsies headliner. In a similar vein to Scissor Sisters last year, possibly a bit too big, might have to close the field but awesome for the people there.

Appreciate the info, I'm extremely hopeful she'll be on the bill in 27 and whichever stage she plays on I'd skip almost any other act to be there.

I think he'd be a perfect Woodsies headliner myself.

This is a tricky one to predict 12months out.

Lily Allen doing West End Girl as Woodsies headliner, but not sure if she will still have the momentum by next year. James Blake would be incredible. Nothing but Thieves on the rock/indie side. Could Jack White headline or maybe Park?

Other acts that might play off the top of my head; Bloc Party, Sombr, Westside Cowboy, Geese, Holly Humberstone, Tooth, Keo, Yard Act
