Roskilde 2026

Looking at the Cure's dates in Belfast on 28th and Opener on 3rd July, does this pretty much rule them out of Roskilde? They seem to have a day between dates, so theoretically, that only leaves the 1st July for them to play on the 1st at Roskilde, which ios the Wednesday. Seems unlikely...

Would hazard a guess they are nailed on. Such a Roskilde festival booking.

Tocket sales start in a week or so, so maybe they will get announced.

  • 3 weeks later...

first names in two days.

what do you expect? when usually days split announced?

really want to visit Denmark for the first time and put my eyes on both Copenhell and Roskilde and even consider do both or part of it.

so it will be great if anyone want to share how is Rosklide in general - vibes, stages, weather, prices, public transport as I'm not into camping and anything else

thanks

The Cure & The xx seem like good shouts. Also Ethel Cain (playing Hamburg on July 1st and Poland on the 3rd) & David Byrne (due to him being at Opener & having played Roskilde already in 2018)

If the Cure, the XX and David Byrne are there, we're in 🙂

Yeah, good bets, velociraptor. There's usually some overlap with Opener and those four fit Roskilde very well.

And The Cure and David Byrne would appease the usual angry brigade, who always complaints about the lineup not having anything for the 'older' segment. 😀

Would like to see both of those there too! Add Geese, Slowdive, Big Thief and a few others, and we're really talking!

Its usually only 1 headliner tomorrow isn't it? With a batch of other names.

If so I would be surprised if it wasnt the cure announced. Seems daft to hold off, with them playing pretty much everywhere next summer.

Yeah was Stormzy I think last year then some other acts like Fontaines DC

    • Any festival booking Nickelback and Creed on the same day will be on to a huge winner, like a golden bullet for millennial ticket sales.

    • So, that Survation poll...Reform have replaced the Tories as the main right party, and Restore are where Reform used to be as the fringe extreme right party gaining support. Grim. What happened to one nation liberal tories?
