I love the lineup this year, theres tons of acts to see that are breaking or have recently gone big!

having said that you can tell its maybe not sold as well as i think they put the ticket price down to the same as tier 1? It was £240 and now £210

also theres quite a few on resale sites going cheap. I think its class but clearly lots of people dont know their new bands or only look at the headliners whereas the strength in depth is very strong

Looking forward this. Missed last year and was gutted not to see Richard Dawson.

It's a festival which always books some up and coming acts that seem to explode shortly after. I wonder who it will be this year?

Joshua idehen on the third stage at deer shed is mental.

getdown services not even on the main stage is mental

Gans are the next big special

madra salach are the next mary wallopers

tons of other acts shared with green man

I dunno. That's supposed a government tax back scheme and you can get back money on next year's tickets if you bought early.

They also said there was only 200 adult tickets left a while back and they've been booking bands right up to the last minute. This is the most bands that have ever played whereas when they did struggle in 2023 they sent out surveys and ran a reduced music line up with less on The Lodge stage and no fourth stage.

Yeah, they're all great gets. People aren't going to get into to see Getdown Services in particular.

What do we think the secret set is likely to be? Someone already on the lineup or someone new completely?

I may be getting my hopes unrealistically high but thought Yard Act could be a good shout - friends of the festival and new album out this week ?

Maybe i don't "know my bands" either but this year looks on paper a lot weaker compared to last year. We timetabled a lot of our time around the music last year ...we're not doing that this year.

I've had a listen to the bands and there's some decent listens but nothing is really jumping out at me like it might have last year with Anthony Szmiereck, Divorce, Big Special, Jacob Alon or Wunderhorse.

What is there to do if you don't fancy the headliner? I've been before but think we've always watched the headliner previously. There's no competition from any other stage (Clashfinder suggested there was but has since been updated).

The small stage (lodge I think) sometimes has an act on at same time as main stage, and the tent sometimes has a DJ on.   Whatever night Stewart Lee is playing might be a good opportunity to get a decent spot!

Yeah looking forward to Stewart Lee. I'm thinking that me and my partner have no interest in Sleaford Mods, and might want to take our 4 year old away from having swear words shouted at him for an hour and a half! :-D We can stay sat on the hill and have a natter if all else fails though, just never sure how much sound will travel from the main stage making that difficult

Anything going on in the wilder woods or whatever it's called?

They tend to have something on after the main stage has finished (acoustic secret set and this year i think a 'silent celidh' whatever that is!) but not same time as the main act.  Going by past years I suspect Stewart Lee will be on after Sleaford Mods.
