According to the "WE ARE SZIGET - DIÁKBÉRLETEK" Facebook group admin there will be student tickets for Hungarian students for 78 500 HUF. 

The question if it is only available for current students or is the "rolling system" remaining in place (if you kept buying passes since you were a student, without skipping a year, you still got the discount).

Yeah, I sent a message to Festival Wishlist. 
 

They replied that during the first round, as you can see, there are no student tickets. And after that when the rolling system starts there will be some options.

 

1) if you are a student at any age and activate BudapestGO, then the first price for Hungarians will be probably 78.500 HUF

 

2) but if you are not a student with BudapestGO, just part of the rolling system, but for example as an adult with no student card, then it will be something similar as 98.500 or in the worst case a bit more expensive (just like now for the adults).

 

and they are not sure about the first one, so they haven’t received any information about the first scenario yet. So the 2nd one is 100% sure at the moment.

I sent a message to sziget after festival wishlist replied that student tickets will be higher for those who are part of the rolling system and do not have student ID, just part of the system. 
 

sziget replied that all student tickets will start from 78.500 later on

Syd for Solen (Denmark, 13-15.08) headliners are The xx, Turnstile and Lorde. 
For the last two years they shared one with Sziget. 
Turnstile at A38 would be mad.

Asked them also last night, but they sent the usual stuff they shared on their socials. Never mentioned the rollout system, even though I specifically asked.

Btw recent years the price gap wasn’t that big anyway. The current very early bird price is just a few thousands forint more than I paid last year for the student ticket. I know the base price was around 90k, but after all the additional fees in the end I paid 98k. I will buy it anyways and maybe buy the student pass if they will have the rollout thingy. Let’s just hope you can buy both of them with the same address.

These are three acts that would be realistic and perfect for the return next year - XX and Lorde headlining and Turnstile in the post-headliner slot

I’ve bought my accommodation today.  Feels real again:).  Flight from uk,  4 star hotel for 7 nights was only 650 pounds including luggage.  Bargain.

Only a day ago said I wasnt going. Went to the website check dates, tickets sales date...Memories flooding back.

 

Just got flights, the only festival I can't miss. I do try though. 🤣

If I remember correctly, around this time last year you were really against coming this year as well. You should just give up fighting against it.

Carson Coma playing is 99% sure by the way. I think they'll get a spot at 17:30 on the main stage.

They're putting a new album out this month. Since they got big they had two albums out, in 2022 and 2023. Both times, they played at Sziget in the summer afterwards.

 

Azahriah could also return to the main stage as a budget friendly subheadliner, as he's still clearly one of the most popular Hungarian talents, and he also released two albums last month. Had a year off, then just had 3 sold out arena shows in October in Budapest.

Was really underwhelmed by Azahriah in 2024. Gave him a go, not my sort of music usually but I thought I'd see what the fuss was about. Gave up after about 20 mins.
