There isn't a whisper of them bringing back a 5th act then?

i think it depends who is the headliner.

For example, FF plays at least a 2 hour set, so it gets more difficult to bring a 5th act.

The only day i could see a 5th act happening is the 11th.

Lorde and Florence dont play more than 1:30 hour, and buraka will close probably with a 1hour set, starting after 1:30am... So it will be time for 2 acts before Lorde, i think.

About Skunk Anansie, didn't see that coming. It's the only date they have in july. In any case it's a solid act and fits very well befone FF.

I think it's a great booking. They're a brilliant live act and ideal to get us warmed up for Foo Fighters. Saw them at Pukkelpop (when they came back after the storm) and it was one of the most powerful shows I have seen. Skin is superb.

Cracking day, only worry is who will clash with The War on Drugs as I am pretty much no compromise on seeing them

Unfortunately this is true. In the UK it would be different nowadays, but Skunk Anansie are bigger in Portugal. They will help sell tickets for sure.

My 2 favorite British bands, so order doesn't really matter to me

Entirely more relevant in today's music sphere.

That’s true, but I don’t know if the placements on the poster mean that much. On one poster - the one divided by days - we have Buraka as co-headliners with Florence and on another they are after Lorde and Teddy.

    • I thought some time back that I could see Get Down Services getting a slot in Woodsies
    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
    • Loads of people have to listen to music they don't like all day, while at work!   Not much different.
    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
