Anything else from the Mad Cool bill we want to see turn up here?

Pulp, Interpol, The Warning for me. A Perfect Circle would be good, but I think they would only fit on the 10th. Maybe they will play Evil? The Last Dinner Party I already have tickets for Coliseu.

So, I think the best names in the line up are already revealed.

They won't be at Evil Live

They are in Luxembourg during the probable dates of Evil Live and it makes no sense coming to Portugal without Resurrection/other festival in Spain

and well in Mad cool they are with Twenty One Pilots, and Nos Alive never cared with specific styles for each day so i think they can play on the 9th

It's possible but I think there's still enough gaps. The 10th has barely got anything announced thus far so there are still spots to be filled. Interpol and Kasabian could be doable imo.

Guess we'll see in due course.

wrote this on the Mad Cool threat but it kinda makes sense to put here also,

with the amount of bands that are in europe during next summer i just find both mad cool and NOS very underwhelming...

only one good big headliner with Foo Fighters but the rest is just underwhelming. Nick cave , Florence and 21 pilots are big enough to headline a 50k/60k festivals? 21 pilots is a "new" band , but its 2026 are nick cave and florence still big enough?

it´s like having scorpions headlining Rock in Rio and Hellfest a couple years ago , it just doesnt make sense

the last time Florence headlined Alive, her day sold out or was close to it ....

Nick Cave and 21 pilots by themselves nope, that is why they are co-headliners

Seeing as Mad Cool just threw out the lot, we sure it's not just worth these guys announcing everything to be in sync, given a lot of the acts will already be known from doing the Madrid event as well?

... feel like this has been pondered this out loud before as well tbf.

I think they should all just throw everything out to be honest. I'm tempted to jump on Mad Cool early, I don't think prices will rise but I'm fairly confident you would sell your ticket as well if a Werchter came up woth the goods for example. I dont think Jack is at Werchter now though, that Mad Cool fake gave me a glimour of hope but reckon he'll stop his tour just short of it. Im also not taking too much from the festleaks for it even though they likely got Thursday correct as they also believed Sabrina was the missing option.

If they are free I'd definitley take Pulp at NOS. Unlikely though, you'd think.

Would be happy with Sigrid, Jalen Ngonda, The War and Treaty, Interpol and The Black Crowes

Well, good news for you, look at the Poster, the war on drugs are there

Indeed they are - they're one of my favourite bands, but there is a band on the Mad Cool lineup called The War and Treaty who are a Gospel/Southern soul band who are brilliant. Whoever books the 2nd stage seems to like that kind of music and booked The Heavy, Larkin Poe and the Tesky Brothers (to name a few) over the last few years to hopeful we'll get them.

I think unlikely myself, Nos has all its subs or Second down bands already and they would be there. I think it's probably lucky they got Cave and TOP on the same day. I'm okay with Sigrid out of that lot, oh I wish it was Editors over Interpol lol, never did get them.

I don't think that is true. Who is subbing Foo Fighters on July 10th? Only announced acts are Jenny Beth and War on Drugs (both Heineken Stage), and Wolf Alice (Nos Stage), who are on the smallest font on the poster and likely to be opening the main stage.
