Always keen to visit someplace new every trip to Glastonbury,

There are tonnes of bars at Glastonbury but ive only hung out in a few Avalon Inn & Stonebridge mostly (which at this time Is a full on venue.

Oh and the Bimble in which is favourite haunt if I see the early hours.

At the best the others I've been in for a tactical pint at best.

Can anyone describe the vibe In any of the others, especially what goes on in there late at night.

I like the ones you've mentioned, plus Bread & Roses and The Cockmill which is next to Acoustic Stage.

Also love the Taphouse, especially after the headliners, as it mainly plays indie/rock stuff from 90s... which is good for me as I'm not into dance music at all - LOL!  It's the most crowded and noisy of the late-night bars I go to though - so not somewhere to sit and unwind!

Can’t remember the name of it, but the one adjacent to West Holts often has some fantastic upbeat bands you can jive to.

Haha I've never been in but I beleive it's called.. (dramatic pause) the West Holts bar

Til 3am.  I'm usually there stuffing myself with curly fries (bought from the van next door) to help prevent too bad a hangover! LOL!

I love the bar at Strummerville, Bread and Roses has a good vibe and some great acts on, and the Brothers Bar at West Holts is a nice meeting spot with all the flags etc.

I recently found this guide to bars which may help you:

Seen the tap house mentioned a few times, where exactly is this? And what sort of beers/ales do they typically offer? Is it any different to the uninspiring choices found across the rest of the site?

It's between Leftfield and West Holts. I don't remember if they had anything better in terms of beers. Probably not.

It's run by Avalon bars so will be the same limited selection as most of theirs/not as good as Cockmill. Cockmill is their ale bar I believe.
