I don’t think it’s bizarre. It’s a strong lineup.

Completely agree, and it's a fun festival with a culture that people enjoy.

Seems like some are completely convinced that the line up is bad but the headliners are all very popular in one way or another, and Linkin Park in particular sold out 90,000 alone at Wembley.

That's before you even get into what is a pretty strong undercard.

Bizzarely, all camping tickets have now sold out.

I think it is a bit too but you can't really argue with sales. I'm surprised its sold out on this though.

Aside from Sunday I wouldn't say the undercards are that strong really but again people have bought tickets.

I completely agree, I would have liked a couple of different headliners alongside LP, but I'll still enjoy both. The undercard is very strong. Apex on Friday is going to be so much fun, Avalanche on Saturday looks mental and Sunday is just rammed with great bands all day. I think they've done a great job across the board which is reflected in the ticket sales.

Here's a question no one wants to think about.

With the war in Iran, and fuel costs rising. At which point do we see bands and the companies that put the fest together say "it can't be afforded"

I imagine if this goes on through April as it appears to be. We will see a wipe out of most of the overseas bands by beginning of May

Maybe we get a COVID esque downsized pilot edition but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Wonder how long they can keep this trend of non-rock/metal acts in the village and main arena up? I personally love it but they are going to start running out of options

The next step up from Scooter has to be The Chemical Brothers in my opinion

I really don't understand the appeal of silent disco's to be honest

Each to their own though

The headphones can be a faff, but the appeal to me is that they usually have more than 1 channel playing, so you can flick between if you don’t want to listen to chop suey for the millionth time.

only ever been sh*t faced though, can’t imagine it being fun sober.

GnR day tix nearly sold out, weekend camping sold out. thank you axl and slash for saving this festival. is what some very strange youngsters should be saying right now. GnR are by far the biggest band download can attract, no matter the quality of performance (with acdc and metallica)

I mean in that case you can't really debate it, all tastes etc and different perspectives aside it's a weak days lineup and most likely because they know Guns will do the pulling. I'd say Friday is only a little better mind. The main stage in general is dross compared to 2025, but again while I think that's subjective taste, I also think many on here preferred it too.
