Before we get to the announcement, or any leaks, this has been my first year here since the "closure" of the Download Festival Forums and I gotta say; been an absolute blast speculating with you all but the wild takes treated as gospel in here put even the Facebook crowd to shame.

The influencer event for the announcement is an embarrassment. There's a reason no other festival does it. Just put it online at a normal time.

To be fair its from a lot of people that won't know on here where expectations are kept low and they won't follow others crossovers we do to know who won't happen etc. Download doesn't have too much below headliner but still too acts aside from Weezer and JEW that you wouldn't expect over the years. Them two either have never played or it's been a long time.

I think the radio show will do then one by one, or in clusters, but the poster will probably go live at the same time.

I love the fact that this year Arctangents adverts were specifying 'no influencer tents'.

Find the whole festival influencer thing mad, all the ones I saw on insta just posted photos in the VIP area where us commoners can’t even go. Didn’t see one post about the bands who played.
