Think we’ll see Architects in a sub slot again. Think we’ll get Hollywood Undead too.

ATL for the Friday avalanche headliner slot?

No chance ATL are playing Avalanche.

You will likely on Architects, it'll be Architects, Yungblud and likely Bad Omens. Trivium, Megadeth and one other for Second stage

Think it’s more likely to be Yungblud Volbeat and Bad Omens than Architects. I just think they’ll either hold out to headline or wait another year is my gut feeling before they sub again. (I have zero intel on that)

Architects aren't going to make it to headliner I doubt but those 3 could happen yes. I'm not sure sure Volbeat will get the sub call here but I could also see then getting second stage headliner.  Those are the 7 I see for those positions though, I don't think Papa Roach will do it and I'm almost definite Offspring won't.

Could Anthrax be 3rd on main? Have Megadeth be a main sub and Anthrax on before them

Megadeth shouldn't be subbing anyway, they are a stalwart 3rd down/second stage headliner and Anthrax would do below to be directly below and not two down.

Genuinely could not think of a worse scenario than this

I'd agree.

My ideal top 2 on main would be:

Limp Bizkit
Papa Roach

Muse
Bad Omens

Linkin Park
Architects

I think Yungblud headlines R&L next year with Blud Fest either not happening or being abroad.

I'll take any mix of other suggestions though. Literally there for a good time with mates. The poster isn't gonna ruin anything.

*edit: Oh and it'll be my first DL so I'll be vibing off the new experience regardless as well.

Tough one, Yungblud is probably more suited for R&L and has played there before. I could quite easily see a R&L day being TOP, Yungblud, All Time Low as the top 3 bands.

In that scenario, I think ATL sub YB and the third headline spot is their usual rap/grime/pop act.

What's the usual ETA for the first DL announcement? Sorry, I could trail through old posts but easier to ask 😄

Limp Bizkit - Blink 182 (European exclusive) - Linkin Park is my hopeful prediction

LB - Ghost - LP would be more realistic and pretty good to

Both are good with me but just got the feeling it will be GnR too many people saying it’s them.

I could see an All Time Low, Yungblud & Limp Bizkit top 3 working with Volbeat, A Perfect Circle, Trivium, Sabaton or Megadeth headlining 2nd stage (Imagine we’ll get 3 of these in a sub or 2nd stage headliner position).

I think Bad Omens & Architects will both take either a sub slot of 2nd stage headliner.

I reckon Papa Roach, The Offspring & Twenty One Pilots will either be R&L or London/Halifax shows.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
