Potential leaked lineup. Personally don’t believe it as headliners are too strong, and too many repeats from last year

My favourite thing about looking at fakes like this is when your brain, for some reason looks at a poster like this, knows it’s 1000% fake and goes “ooo, would be a good line up that though”

Final predictions then?

Just some punts at who could headline and who could sub

Thursday: Fatboy Slim / Maximo Park

Friday: Courteeners / DMA’s

Saturday: The Prodigy / Scissor Sisters

Sunday: Gerry Cinnamon / The Lathums

Think this is a great shout

I know Maximo Park have it as they're playing but surely they'd be a weak sub/headliner here? Would have them as a Parklands header at the very most these days.

Heart Prediction:

Thursday: Faithless (Late Night/DJ Set) / Doves

Friday: Fontaines D.C. / Suede

Saturday: The Prodigy / Franz Ferdinand

Sunday: Biffy Clyro / Manic Street Preachers

Head Prediction:

Thursday: Same as above (maybe swap Faithless for Fat Boy Slim)

Friday: Courteeners / Bloc Party

Saturday: Snow Patrol / DMAs

Sunday: Gerry Cinnamon / Franz Ferdinand

I have no idea what it will end up like really, but the fact Kendal tickets are about £250 once you add the Thursday on, I think they need to be projecting their line-ups a bit higher than some of the acts we've had in recent years (looking at you here, sub-headliner Rick Astley). Either way, I'm excited for the reveal tomorrow

Kendal Calling have just posted this:

We've watched this party grow from a get together in our local park to an adventure beyond our wildest expectations and we expect our 20th birthday to take us that one step further. A celebration of Kendal's past, present and future - from first time headliners to returning favourites.

Whether you've been on this ride with us since the beginning or making the pilgrimage to the Lakes for the first time, one thing's for sure - you're in for the party of a lifetime!”

Any late guesses on the returning favourites or first time headliners?

Makes it sound like there is at least one first time headliner. I can see The Prodigy as one of the new headliners and Biffy Clyro joining them. Stereophonics returning. That's probably way too strong.

I hope you’re right haha!

I think they put a banner up at the last festival (I’m certain I saw it on here or the Facebook group) which seemed to heavily hint at Courteeners (returning) and Gerry Cinnamon (debuting header) which is why I can’t see past them at present

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
