If Marina does get booked I suspect she will be announced in the second wave. The release of her new album is likely to be early 2025, in time for Coachella. I can't see her being in the first wave.

 

I would throw Sigrid into this list too, as she's on tour this year.

Incredibly surprised that London Grammar don't appear to be a headliner at Boardmasters. They play arenas and headlined Latitude last year. Would love them at Sziget.

Attendance wise, Boardmasters is 50% bigger than Latitude so that probably plays a part but, also, Boardmasters is similar to R&L in its demographic and London Grammar really wouldn't be a great fit as a headliner. Especially in a year that they also have Raye headlining.

Agreed, this, plus the fact that the Prodigy are showing up on lots of these other festival bookings does make it look like they are on the way. Personally, I think it would be a fun booking, both them and Franz Ferdinand.

For those who aren't aware, and are wondering why posts of obscure British festivals are being posted on here this week, Superstruct Entertainment, which owns Sziget, also owns around 80 other festivals across the globe and can, and do, book artists for a number of different festivals at a discounted rate.

 

So, that's why the line up at the following festivals can sometimes have a bearing on who we see at Sziget:
