I'm sure everyone on here has an act whose popularity they struggle to comprehend. Maybe it's Adele, or Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift.

With me, it's Muse. A couple of decent songs but can somehow fill stadiums. Do. Not. Get. It.

lol, Muse was the top live band around the 2004 era and have 4 huge albums.

Downhill from then, sure, but they could come up with a brutal 25 song setlist if they wanted to (they don't).

There is. Negotiating.

Weren’t there negotiations with her last year too? I would absolutely love for her to come but I do get the sense that there would’ve been a better chance at her last year, seeing as she’s had the most successful year of her career so far with brat releasing and she will be headlining primavera in june. Idk, I just really don’t want to get my hopes up only to then be disappointed I guess. Any idea how far along those negotiations are?

Lightning McQueen?

Cars?

Owen Wilson?

I'm confused.

Announcement coming in lightning quick, perhaps?

If it's this, they must have sorted quite a few contracts in the past week. Otherwise, from Leaks' prior comments, we shouldn't hold our breath for an impressive announcement.

So is it about a song title?

The first guess was Luke Coombs based on the picture being of a 'Fast Car' but then Leaks said the clue wasn't about an artist (but the guess was of an artist based on a song title) so I assume it refers to neither an artist nor a song title. @Sziget2025_Leaks is that right?

You are probably right. Maybe I just really want the hint to be connected to Olivia. (Drivers licence)

They could've chosen any car to represent that. They've specifically chosen a well-known fast car.

I suspect it means either things are speeding up (they've managed to book some high calibre acts in the past couple of days) or the announcement is speeding up and something's coming in the next week.

Good news either way.....hopefully!

    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
    • We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.
    • The Bródy Day was his idea because Sziget has always been late when it comes to this kind of concert. They would only organize farewell performances or tribute shows after an artist had passed away. Since Bródy is one of the country's greatest singer-songwriters, they wanted to honor him while he is still alive. (He didn't say it exactly like that, but the man is 80 and has just stopped playing large concerts.) He never understood why anyone would focus exclusively on one generation, especially Gen Z, who have less disposable income, drink less, and are, in his words, "afraid of partying." He explained that in the past, people loved festivals because of the nonstop partying, whereas many younger people today find that experience overwhelming or exhausting. That's one of the reasons why Sziget will introduce more chill zones and sensory-friendly spaces. They also want to attract older generations, who are generally more willing and able to spend money. The Sziget Icons days are aimed at this audience, and in the future they hope to create a more balanced lineup that appeals to people over 35 as well.   It was a long interview. If anything else comes to mind, I'll share it.
