Realistically the secret show could be any of the 4…

But it could also be a completely different act.

Mel C isnt in the country I dont believe so wont be her. Regarding the others I'd rather someone different but who truly knows. I guess we will all find out soon enough

Yeah Mel C is playing in a Nordic country tomorrow so it’s not possible.

could be Ella Henderson or the zutons. It’s a 45 minute set so it’s got to be someone big enough to fill that time.

does seem like they are really going for it with special guests this year so we could be in for someone unexpected

The Zutons would fill that secret slot nicely, but they're doing that Redman TV show at the Arena, 13:30 to 19:00, so I doubt it.

Yeah and you'd assume from the poster that they'd be on in the earlier parts of the day. I also think the R1 audience only knows one song

But they're a Scouse band so that may be the idea. Jamie Webster would be more Radio 1 nowadays

Actually think Tom Grennan looked pretty good but Biffy should be the headliner, so tight live and buzzing for them at Glasto next month! Wouldn’t mind Grennan and Wombats added to Glasto though.

    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
