I thought they released the full line up few days ago on Instagram?

They did but seemingly with one addition, reducing the lineup by a considerable amount, especially in the New Music tent. So i guess thats why some are hopeful?

There is only 5 acts on New Music on Saturday and 6 on Sunday, can’t imagine that it will be left unbalanced.

thats compared to 9 acts daily last year.

The last announcement last year was 14th May.

I'd say if we don't get any new names on Monday or Tuesday, I reckon the line up is complete as it is. Seems strange as there are considerably less acts compared to last year and an uneven balance between days, but I also wouldn't be surprised. Does contradict Jack Saunders confirming that there will be more big names though if there are no further announcements.

Just wondering, do people's big weekend tickets have different GA numbers on them?

They do yeah, doesn't mean anything other than a way of identifying the ticket order.

Does anyone know when set time usually get released ? Or at least what time the main stage begins each day?

Have only received an email to say doors from 11:00 so far..

the line up must definitely be complete as they would have announced any further names by now

Some long "radio 1 anthems" sets from the DJs then!! Hopefully means we can catch Inhaler and Good Neighbours around the main stage acts

I was expecting more names but the last announcement last year was 10 days before so it seems very unlikely.

i guess there’s a possibility for a secret set on the Saturday on the New Music Stage, as there’s one less act compared to the Sunday .

Hopefully! Unless Aitch and AJ Tracey's show is going to be a bit longer because there are two of them.

I'm really hoping Myles Smith or, ideally, Tom Odell open the main stage so there's a bit less pressure getting in early

I wonder if there is something big weekend tomorrow because greg James has change to win big weekend tickets on his show.

It is strange for jack saunders to say at the end of April that there is more names coming if Hard Life were really the last name and they just snuck them onto the poster.

however, if there was an announcement , surely they would have promoted it by now? Normally they give a few days notice before they release names, so it’s possible it’s the final line up.

also agree that Aitch & Aj Tracey could be playing a full set each so could count as two acts just with no break in between.

Stage times are out on the app and it appears there is one opening special guest on the second stage for Saturday.

Looks like the first Big Weekend since Glasgow where you can catch virtually all of the second stage and main stage headliners. However the huge gaps between acts all day is very unusual. I wonder if they’ve struggled to pull in acts this year.

The event overall has a later start time and an early finishing time of 21:45. I wonder if the proximity of the local community has impacted on the site to keep the residents happy. I have seen a fair amount of negative local press/comments regarding it.

Wolf Alice 19:10-19:55

Sam Fender 20:45-21:45

I agree, annoying as well as South Arcade and Tate were the two acts I was dying to see on the day. The 45 minute change over between almost all the acts is very odd too.

The Sunday set times are bizarre. At 1:30-2:15 they clash all of the stages and then have 3 empty stages for the next 40 minutes

Calvin Harris maybe? But yeah the spacing is quite something, I wonder what has caused the reduction in artists this year.
