Just remembered of a headline worthy name for Alive. Childish Gambino would sell a lot of tickets, i heard some rumors about a possible tour some months ago. Anyone has the ideia if he is doing festivals next year?

He missed both Portugal and Spain on his tour this winter

I don't think so. Most of his shows this year got cancelled because he underwent surgery in October and now he needs time to heal.

I really hope for an announcement of Green Day as headliner, 12 years waiting for them  in Portugal, on last year's tour the last date of their tour was June 29th, quite far from the NOS Alive dates, this time they will be in Europe in the same window that the festival will be taking place

either Covoes is short on money or it has some massive headliners for the 2 remaining days.

those pop acts as @Joao182 (blink reference?) said are one hit wonders and gotta be cheap to bring in, alongside all the indie stuff on the heineken stage so far

There's still a lot of names left. Don't create expectations, that's what I've learned over the last few years in Portugal.
There are so many festivals in Portugal, but there are years when it is sometimes worth going outside the country.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
