Just come on here for a butchers

So I've seen on Reddit that a trusted source on here has revealed Sleep Token/Green Day/Korn as the headliners for Download 2025.

Is this true or just fans spreading BS?

Thanks muchly in advance

I think Reddit have said that it was leaked on here, someone on here read it in the Download forums and someone on the Download forums read it on Reddit, and the circle keeps going round and round.

Then everyone kept repeating it until it became the truth haha,

Limp Bizkit this year pulled the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen at any festival I’ve been to. This was confirmed even more from a video circulating online of someone filming their crowd from the ferris wheel. Mental, mental crowd.

The other biggest crowds I’ve seen at DL that spring to mind are both FFDP and SOAD in 2017.

Yet Limp Bizkit weren't big enough to headline because of who else they pulled in after going through 21 bands. Whereas, Korn are because they need to save money for the bill as they've got a huge band in. Big enough vs can do the job needed. You would presume they are choosing to packer a better bill out after opting for Korn with Muse saying no. Pretty sure the subs at this point were Deftones, Avril and Korn.

The Gunnerbsury / Halifax etc. circuit seems to be working well. Bizkit played it, everyone went or saw the videos of it circulating online and then turned up to see them at DL. The same will happen for KoRn (although their crowd won’t be as big as Bizkit’s because, again, wow, that crowd).

Bizkit will headline next time they play. Copping joined them on stage and then said as much afterwards. If getting a smaller, legacy band to headline means a more stacked undercard across the weekend, I’m good with that. Especially if it comes coupled with the booking of one of the festivals ‘white whale’ headliners such as Green Day.

Download has changed tack over the last couple of years and, in the long run, will be better off for it.

Anyone has a clue if Lamb of God will finally come and do another european festival season?

I remember seeing a rumour here that they were booked for 2024, so hoping they finally make it in 2025.

I’m expecting them to be there. Would be a perfect second stage headliner. It would be even better if they bring Mastodon over too and they both perform those albums in full like they’ve been doing in the US.

If they are gonna play with Mastodon I'd rather they do a co-headline academy tour like they did with Kreator and hit up Bristol again, that gig was so good.

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
