Yes, probably. To give you an idea, last year on the Hawley mid week show, it started c. 4pm, and they had 4 acts on the main stage, plus similar numbers on 2 each of much smaller stages (mostly local bands)

The QOTSA are not my bag but that is a cracking line up and fair play to the organisers.  

 

Really enjoyed last year on the Saturday so great to see a sell out.

There's a little key at the bottom telling you which bands are the Wednesday/Thursday or both. 

 

If they'd announced these both together I (personally) would have gone for the Thursday just because it's more up my street, but not complaining too much at Fat Dog as a support on the night I'm there.

Aye, QOTSA usually are pretty good at mixing up the setlists. Think you'll get six or seven different ones night to night, especially in a two-night single city stand.

No, but Charlatans have a few standalone things this summer. Alternatively, I guess Sex Pistols might capitalise on the QotSA momentum, although obvs the organisers like to mix up the audiences a bit. Equally could be we've all missed the point and it's going to be some pop/dance act I've never heard of...

Yeah, I don't think it's them. I mean, most picks are going to feel a little down to an extent after QOTSA, given they are a bona-fide major festival headliner (thanks, Download!).

 

James have started to amass more notable bill-topping slots in the last few years, for what it is worth.

Assume the Wombats unless anyone could please prove me wrong? While I know the QOTSA day is a bit of a fluke, James and The Wombats seem particularly uninspiring...
