feeling happy cos i've just found my  two smartwatches that i'd not seen for four months and thought they might be lost. 🙂

they're very good smartwatches with features that're wasted on me and  annoyingly short battery lives.

they're a pain in the arse to setup - would probably help if i knew what i was doing.

Which ones you got ?

Most need an app and the stars to align to get them to bluetooth with your phone 😛

i've had them a while: ticwatch E2 and E3.

E3 is the top of the range one, still has sh*t battery life. i wanted ones that use wear os rather than propriatory stuff.

used to have a sony smartwatch but it died.

bluetooth worked a dream when i reset the watch. i like bluetooth it works well, it took about a decade for the big tech firms to nail down the spec for it, they did a good job i'd say.

If Hamas are not going to surrender and Israel don't fancy being wiped off the face of the earth - whats your answer ?

And just exactly who is going to wipe Israeli from the face of the earth?

Hamas aren't capable of doing so

We have answers to how to achieve lasting peace in the middle East on this forum? Wow. Hope the powers that be are reading. Does it involve continuing the destruction of Gaza in the hope that they will kill some Hamas? Or does it involve a ceasefire, hostage release and negotiations on a way forward for that whole region?

If we had a time machine to go back to 1948, with our current knowledge, we might have a chance.

Regarding what the saudis are doing Yemen. I'm actually not convinced that going back to 1948 would work. Would the Sunni's accept the Shiites being in control of Jerusalem or would they be doing the same thing Israel is doing and judging by the state of Yemen alot worse.

Yeah but no one would care.

wow - wrong.  Your limited history knowledge kicking in now.

So the Israelis didn't forcibly remove approximately 750,000 Palestinians--over 80% of the population from their homes?

Well that's news to me

    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
