The sad thing is, if Johnson wasn’t so lazy and unfit to lead then we would’ve gone into lockdown earlier (on all 3 occasions) and wouldn’t have had to have been in lockdown for as long. The buck stops with him.

actually had a look, doesn't start till March 22nd...too late.

There were 2 or 3 earlier threads that were called something like ‘Will Glastonbury be cancelled’ which started end of Jan/early February. Like prequels or prologues you could say.

What these threads show is just how uncertain everything was back then.  Everyone looks back now through lived experience and attacks the likes of Boris but when you consider around the time how the hot topic was, will I still be able to go to my leftie festival, goes to show just how uncertain things where.

Yeah, and if it had been Starmer in charge, then the exact same things they're criticising would be getting defended right now. Very predictable

interesting poll on this one...

I had some cracking predictions back then, twice I predicted with certainty that Glastonbury in 2020/21 wouldn’t ahead. I wasn’t wrong about anything else…

Gone off PR a bit recently. We'd just end up with Farage as PM.

And its just a different way of getting s Hung parliament where no one gets what they voted for.

So fixated with Boris admitting how useless he is that missed Braverman doing her thing and telling MPs that govt must block all domestic/international laws blocking flights to Rwanda otherwise they face electoral oblivion.

He didn't realise how serious it was a comment meant to cover all of the COVID crisis after seeing Italy and his own time in hospital where he admitted that he nearly died.

And the resignations have begun. Pass the popcorn this is going to be fun.

Wow I didn’t see that about Jenrick. Looks like we might be getting a VONC soon.

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
