Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe it's down to something on See's end, increased popularity / more people trying / awareness around grouping up / pot luck etc. etc.

It's simple enough - every year it gets more popular than ever and the quantity of folk trying those successful methods shared in here increases. Last year in the run up to the sale you couldn't move for other places sharing the same tips about multiple devices, working in groups at different locations, etc

Bad tactics. Go on the page now and refresh 61 times in 60 seconds and see what happens.

I just tried this and took me to the "holding page" as well, scary, after about 20 seconds of inaction it took me back to the proper page. How do you know it's 60 presses, did you count them?

If you're not getting anywhere at all, close the browser(s) open an incognito/private window along with others and re-try - ctrl-F5 as well. That worked for me last night (although I picked a town that was sold out and was in "1 ticket v. 3 ticket hell" on coach allocation.

But, it's all really down to the number of fresh, lovely, clean refreshes you give the page and hoping one of those goes through. There is no formula.

Well, there is. Let's say 1m trying for 100,000 tix - that's 1/10, so you need >7 connections trying to put the odds even slightly in your favour (1-0.9^7).

Absolutely. It's the usual frustration I get when being unsuccessful and trying to over-analyse and overthink the technical process. Nothing more than supply far out-weighing demand and sheer luck on the day.

I know this before ticket day and will still get annoyed at the end of it! ? Only human after all...

Each time I tried an incognito or private window they didn't even get to the queue page, just errors unfortunately.

Aye, you clearly followed the steps which plenty of others in here did and in their case it was successful.  Some of us were just sh*t out of luck ;)

I wouldn’t worry about this. I got through to the basic holding page and continued to refresh and eventually got through to the booking and payment page. I don’t think it means anything.
