pop, rock, no metal except mainstream......Bands, artists like Muse, Rammstein, Bruno Mars, Greenday, Peral Jam, Coldplay..It can go from very poppy to heavy but always big headliners. Hope that Coldplay will tour this year

Not sure if avatar is in favor or against Greta...

And Pinkpop can count on scraps from the Dutch version of Live Nation (Mojo). Don't expect big names if those same big names can be booked separately for more profit.

Et tu @visdave34? hahahahaha. Je kunt hier dus iemand downvoten. Lol. Ik denk dat ik mijn I love Boris Johnson ava maar eens ga gebruiken. Hilarisch dit.

Oui, c'est moi. Still think political opinions do not belong on a festival forum. Anyway, let's move on...

I could care less. But people always are urged to respond to an avatar.

Anyway....-Coldplay on Pinkpop?

This coming from the guy who bitches on Festileaks Forum whenever some artist brings up politics at a festival, LMAO.

Joh. Lul niet. Ik reageer op politiek. Ik begin er niet zelf over. Wel eerst even de feiten goed vermelden. Er wordt op mijn ava gereageerd. Dat is het.

Uhh, no. You start off with politically provocative/trolling avatars, and then play the victim when people call you out on your hypocrisy (there's at least two documented examples on the aforementioned other forum we could choose to share).

    • Policing is very relaxed, provided you stay within your lines I'd say. I don't think we're supposed to have an event shelter as well as a tent next to our van, but we've done it without issue for years. It's a happy vibe up there.
    • Do feel a lot more cynical about the Mercury now. Given the awards show is now an arena event, there's clearly a pressure on them to nominate mainstream acts in order to sell tickets for it. And not saying that Jade and Knats don't deserve to be nominated (haven't listened to either), but the fact the event is in Newcastle can't have nothing to do with that... (not to mention Fender winning last year, which frankly was a joke)    Hard not to agree with this: https://www.clashmusic.com/features/this-years-mercury-prize-is-a-pivot-towards-the-mainstream/
