where would people place ? them subject to an appearance obviously .... they seemed to think they punched a little above their weight with JP opener last time ... and reckon a bbc introducing ... how many does that hold ? I reckon 1500 were there by the end of the set a few years ago ... and they've made great steps since

Would they do the Park? Have listened to the album and liked it and even suggested to my teenage kids who were interested so they have a broad spectrum of followers.

possibly thats a thought  ... It seems to be picking up quite broad mix of age range support from what Ive seen on the fb group on here and at the gigs ive attended which is massively positive for the future .... they seem to play some quite different tracks and create a broad appeal  :)

Superman might be a bit strong :)  ... I’ve seen them on the odd occasion but there’s bigger groupies than me by far ... just want to help someone get out of a rubbish supermarket job :)

Sorry to hear yr ticketless, are you trying the resales?
I’m no superfan of anything really but have enjoyed what I’ve heard of OD so far. Always good to have something new to listen to.

Yes, i am all signed up with @vintagelaureate @crazyfool1and the resale gang...  and trying to help those in the coach resale first..

If you have enjoyed OD on record, do try and catch them live... they proper go for it. I shall be venturing into Shoreditch next month to see them perform some of the new material..

The tour is posted on page 4 of this thread should you be interested ... and as BD mentions ... the energy of the live show is really something else :)

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
